Capitalism

Whereas the solution that socialism dreamed up is mass murder. Over 120,000,000 dead people in the last 100 years.

I choose capitalism. At least their goal is merely to sell me stuff, as opposed to you wanting to murder me.
I never said socialism was the way. Assuming NEVER makes a truth. I said balance is how things work the best. Its like the joke of pro sports. A basketball player gets paid more for 1 game than the president of the usa gets for the whole year. Yet he holds life and death in his hands( nuclear bombs). Its a farse what the usa has become.

So what? Normal capitalism aimed at maximizing profits. Everything is fraudulent except the belief in money. Which is also bullshit

New York closed the “portal” for video links to Dublin.

This is how the real portal from capitalism to the future would have ended. The bargainers, the thieving culture of decay have nothing more to offer History.

"Capital is said by a Quarterly Reviewer to fly turbulence and strife, and to be timid, which is very true; but this is very incompletely stating the question. Capital eschews no profit, or very small profit, just as Nature was formerly said to abhor a vacuum.
With adequate profit, capital is very bold. A certain 10 per cent. will ensure its employment anywhere;
20 per cent. certain will produce eagerness;
50 per cent., positive audacity;
100 per cent. will make it ready to trample on all human laws;
300 per cent., and there is not a crime at which it will scruple, nor a risk it will not run, even to the chance of its owner being hanged. If turbulence and strife will bring a profit, it will freely encourage both. Smuggling and the slave-trade have amply proved all that is here stated." Todays capialism= The greedy hearts of the ultra rich, who care less for the country or people in it keep taking, taking, taking. causing more and more to become poor. The govt puppets arent running things, the ultra rich are so they can get more no matter what it does to other lives.
Ever notice the 2 biggest arms producers and sellers( usa-russia) are involved in all the wars to keep their factory's going? Coincidence or a designed plan at the cost of human life?

None of that goes away with socialism. Avarice just finds a different path. People who want power and wealth acquire it via government, rather than the free market.

What you describe is fascism. Has nothing to do with capitalism.

Socialism isn't the answer, nothing mortals do is the answer. They are all corrupt. All the govts are corrupt and their systems.

Fascism is capitalism in uniform.
No, it isn't. Capitalism is one person selling something to another person. Fascism is having the government put your competition out of business.

Huge difference.

So does one think capitalism is best for the human race?
Absolutely.

The problem with capitalism currently is the way it's being applied. There are many who believe that proper, efficient regulation is the bane of capitalism, when in fact proper, efficient regulation is a critical component of capitalism. Of course then, as always, we run the risk of overcompensating and going too far, which is the Great American Pastime.

Having spent over 23 years in the financial field, I can tell you that (a) the Meltdown of 2008 should have demonstrated to us that the above is true, (b) it clearly didn't, and (c) our current regulatory regime is a ridiculous pile of band aids that STILL has holes large enough to drive a fucking semi truck through. Not mention that wealth imbalances are rapidly leading us to our own version of the French Revolution.

And since we're now paralyzed by shallow tribalism, there's no reason to believe that our "leaders" will grow up, work together, and make capitalism great again. All that does is open the door to bad ideas like socialism. Self-inflicted wound.
