For those who don't know, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has owned the patent on Cannabis and all of it's cannabinoids as neuroprotectants, "and prophylaxis of wide variety of oxidation associated diseases, such as ischemic, age-related, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases."
