As an aside. There is some truth for the need of pads and mensural pads om the military.
Lest we forget today's military contains 20% females. That does include those men with mental dysphoria that make them think they're transgender.
After WWII and Korea there was a higher rate of re-enlistments within the military during the mid 1950's that required care for the dependents and children of our military. That required care as well as medicines.
Our Military was not prepared to assist and our medical supplies to military hospitals were united under one central purchasing group and slowly pediatric and specific pharmaceuticals specifically for children and women's needs were included.
It was finally taken over by CHAMPUS.

I had a buddy, a fellow Captain at the time and Armor Company Commander, that had a huge fistula. It was operated on the week before a two-week tank exercise. For those two weeks, he did in fact use some tampons, and of course a donut to sit on. Think about that for a second. Two weeks in the field straight, day and night, in a tank, with day time temps running 95 to 105 degrees, and a hole beside his ass up into his ass, big enough to take a tampon.

Story goes, he went into the local IGA grocery store to buy some as he was divorced at the time. This was before checkout scanners. He just happened to pick up a pack without a price tag. The woman (one he actually knew) looked at, saying "sorry", than click up the PA mike to ask for price check 12 count tampax. Some stock boy didn't hear correctly, went to the housewares isle, thinking she said thumbtax and replied over the intercom, "you want the kind you pushing with your finger or the kind you dive in with a hammer?"

I'm sure lots of military use such things, they are great for making backpacks that much easier to walk 30K with.

they’re for “trans men”, aka biological women who prefer to be called men and may or may not be on steroids to alter their hormone balance

Even if they’re on test, they may still be menstruating.

So, yeah it’s ridiculous, but if you break it down, they’re still just providing feminine products for women who’re menstruating. It’s just women who want to be called men, so they slap a “for men” on the box
