Canada is worried about a possible, huge surge in Black and Brown people applying for asylum

There was an anti-Islam rally in London, Ontario today. The anti-Islamists were out numbered 10-1 by counter protesters. Two members of the hate group were arrested.

London will be passing a by-law banning permits for hate groups.

I wouldn't be surprised. The British don't have rights like Americans do.

London, Ontario is NOT in Britain, its in Canada.

I would say that the right to be free of hate speech is greater than the right of haters to offend people.

Canadians have more rights and freedoms than Americans.

Canada frets over possible huge surge in asylum-seekers: sources

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canada fears a huge surge in asylum seekers crossing the border from the United States, putting political pressure on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ahead of a 2019 election, sources familiar with the matter said on Wednesday.

The number of migrants illegally entering Canada more than tripled in July and August, hitting nearly 7,000. Haitians, who face looming deportation from the United States when their temporary protected status expires in January 2018, accounted for much of the inflow.

Two sources familiar with Canadian government thinking said citizens from El Salvador, Nicaragua and Honduras, who are slated to lose their U.S. protected status in early 2018, may also head north.

"There is concern we'll see a huge increase, mostly from Central America," said one source.

"The question is, which group is next, and how are we going to deal with it, and what is the impact on Canadians?" added the source, who requested anonymity given the sensitivity of the situation.

Most new arrivals are going to the predominantly French-speaking province of Quebec, sparking protests from opposition politicians and anti-immigrant groups.

Trudeau's Liberals need to gain support in Quebec to offset expected losses elsewhere ahead of an October 2019 election.

Asked whether the Liberals were worried about losing popularity in Quebec, the source said: "Absolutely. That's a concern."

But if Trudeau clamps down too far, he risks tarnishing a long-cultivated reputation for openness and tolerance. He pointedly tweeted Canada's welcome of refugees after U.S. President Donald Trump unveiled a travel ban in January.

"The government is in a real quandary over this," said a third source familiar with official thinking.

Ottawa has hardened its tone in recent days, warning people not to cross the border since they could well be deported.

Trudeau said Canada was enforcing immigration rules.

"We are an open and welcoming country because citizens have confidence in our immigration and refugee system and we have been able to continue to defend and protect the integrity of that system," he told reporters in Montreal on Wednesday.

He also said Ottawa might accelerate the process of issuing work permits for asylum seekers rather than make them wait for refugee claims to be processed, which now takes several months.

Leger Marketing pollster Christian Bourque said there were no immediate signs that support in Quebec for Trudeau was weakening.

"I think that changes if people do not perceive the government is taking a strong stand," he said.

A Reuters poll in March found nearly half of Canadians want to deport people who are illegally crossing from the United States.

A Haitian-Canadian Liberal legislator is due to visit Miami on Thursday, home to a large expatriate community, in a bid to persuade people to stay put. Officials complain false stories are circulating about how easy it is to be granted permission to stay in Canada...

Let's see how liberal Canada is when they have 13 million or so, mostly unskilled, illegal immigrants who don't speak English or French.
Let's see how the populations of the provinces other than Quebec react to a bunch of illiterate unskilled 'babymakers' who show up expecting 'free shit'. It won't be pretty.
Fucking Trudeau can let them live in HIS fucking mansion!
GOD I'd LOVE to watch what would happen if a bunch of 'young Haitian men' started hanging out on the street corners of Calgary or Regina selling hard drugs and spitting on white women as they walked past.
Just like BONOBO, Trudeau is counting on every illegal immigrant to end up voting LIBERAL.

We have never had "open borders" nor have we ever claimed our borders were open. It is, in fact, quite difficult to get into Canada.

But we don't discriminate on the basis of race or religion. We don't deny sanctuary to legitimate refugees.
Face it asshole. EVERY FUCKING HATIAN has a good reason not to want to live in Haiti.
The Clintons looted the donations made to Haiti.
The country is literally in the top ten shit holes of the world list.
Interestingly every one of them is ruled/populated by negroes. Go figure.
How the Clinton Foundation Got Rich off Poor Haitians
Just read the report.
And some of you actually wanted the bitch to become President?
Fucking unbelievable! The Clintons ought to have both been in prison for life years ago.
Seth Richards was only the latest in a LONG list of people who were associated with the Clintons who 'committed suicide' by shooting themselves multiple times in the back of the head.
ONE DAY the Clinton's WILL face the death penalty or life in prison.
Seth was the one leaking the DNC emails to the Russians/Wikileaks. He was discovered and the DNC had him murdered.

How many Syrians has Canada accepted? How many have applied? Canada vets very thoroughly. If the US wants to vet as thoroughly as Canada, Trudeau makes snotty remarks aimed to put Trump in his place. The US should just announce that we will use the EXACT SAME criteria and vetting as Canada. Trump would still be called a racist, xenophobic, homophobic klansman. By the way, what percent of Canada's immigrants/refugees are South American? Mexican? Hatian?

The point is, Canada is much more discriminatory regarding immigration than the US. Trudeau has no room to be calling anyone out in that regard. The US is happy to send Canada all the immigrants it wants. Canada is all about diversity, unless they are poor, black, hispanic or uneducated just looking for a better life. Then, they have nothing to offer Canada and ARE NOT WELCOME. What is the problem with the US following Canada's system, exactly?

It will make their country more diverse and more better. It's Time Quebec stopped being French, what the hell were they thinking trying to be exclusive and all. It will also make their health care system much more efficient, no more waiting a long time for procedures like they do now.

And how much news time and VOICE did the American left wing news media give those protesting Hatians? I do rember that well, but still overall the story was buried and went away. I thought Black lives mattered. To tell you the truth I think I've done more to improve the lives of Hatians than the Clintons did without spending 1 dollar. or wasting 1 dollar of taxpayer money.

Canada deported hundreds to war-torn countries: government data

TORONTO (Reuters) - Canada has deported hundreds of people to countries designated too dangerous for civilians, with more than half of those people being sent back to Iraq, according to government data obtained by Reuters.

The spike in deportations comes as Canada faces a record number of migrants and is on track to have the most refugee claims in more than a decade. That has left the country scrambling to cope with the influx of asylum seekers, many crossing the U.S. border illegally.

Between January 2014 and Sept. 6, 2017, Canada sent 249 people to 11 countries for which the government had suspended or deferred deportations because of dangers to civilians.

That includes 134 people to Iraq, 62 to the Democratic Republic of Congo and 43 to Afghanistan, the data shows.

The number of Iraq deportations increased from 22 in 2014 to 51 in 2016 and stands at 35 so far this year.

"The decision to remove someone from Canada is not taken lightly," Canada Border Services Agency spokeswoman Patrizia Giolti wrote in an email.

"Everyone ordered removed from Canada is entitled to due process before the law, and all removal orders are subject to various levels of appeal."

The Canada Council for Refugees has said existing avenues of appeal are too limited, leaving little recourse for people facing deportation to dangerous countries.

Canada can deport anyone who is not a citizen, for reasons including criminality, exhausting attempts to obtain permanent residency and non-compliance with immigration laws.

The federal government has suspension or deferral designations for countries or regions deemed dangerous but may still deport people to them because of criminality, security risks or human rights violations.

The United Nations' High Commission on Refugees recommends states refrain from deporting people to Iraq because of the human rights situation and the conflict there, said Jean-Nicholas Beuze, the organization's Canadian representative...

Canada's Trudeau grilled on efforts to turn back asylum seekers

TORONTO (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his ministers faced questions in parliament on Tuesday a day after Reuters reported that Canada wants the legal authority to turn back thousands of asylum seekers crossing the border illegally.

A Canadian official familiar with the matter told Reuters that Canada wants to amend a bilateral agreement to allow it to block border-crossing refugee claimants but that the United States is not cooperating.

Under the Safe Third Country Agreement, or STCA, asylum seekers who arrive at a formal Canada-U.S. border crossing going in either direction are turned back and told to apply for asylum in the first country they arrived in.

Canada wants the agreement rewritten to apply to the entire border.

More than 26,000 asylum seekers have crossed illegally into Canada from the United States to file refugee claims in the past 15 months, walking over ditches and on empty roads along the world’s longest undefended border.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has said it is reviewing Canada’s proposal but has not made a decision.

Asked about the negotiations during parliamentary question period on Tuesday, Trudeau said his government had been in contact with American counterparts “for months” on “many issues relating to our border.”

Immigration and Refugee Minister Ahmed Hussen would not say what Canada is asking the U.S. for, telling reporters there were no “formal negotiations” ongoing.

But political opponents contrasted the Liberal government’s welcoming rhetoric with officials’ efforts to block asylum seekers.

“If we are entering into talks with the Americans ... what kind of message does it send to the Americans if you’ve got the ministers out saying: ‘We’re not negotiating?’” said Conservative immigration critic Michelle Rempel, who has called since early 2017 for the authority the government is said to be seeking.

New Democratic Party critic Jenny Kwan slammed Canada’s efforts to turn back asylum seekers, calling the idea unfeasible and saying it would force border crossers underground.

“The Liberal government has failed to come up with a plan in the face of (U.S. President Donald) Trump,” Kwan said.

Many of the asylum seekers with whom Reuters has spoken said they would have remained in the United States were it not for Trump’s policies and rhetoric.

Trudeau faces “a delicate balance” in trying to appear in control of border crossings while maintaining an image of compassion, said Ipsos pollster Darrell Bricker.

In addition to critical public opinion, Trudeau’s government has faced complaints from the province of Quebec, where the vast majority of border crossers have arrived...

Well dannyboys, you truly do get today’s “Too Stupid to be One Person”, award. The first language of Haiti is French. Both Montreal and Quebec City are home to thriving Haitian communities and have been for generations.

Somehow Canada manages to welcome and include the same communities that Americans send off to live in racialized ghettoes and with few opportunities. In our model these communities thrive as beacons of culture, and growth in their cities and a great place to transition and network into the city and community at large.

Our inner cities are great places to live and home to some of our most expensive neighbourhoods. Gated communities are not common here.

This is their diversity, these people coming in don't give a dam about you or your freedom be it Canada, or the US.....Leftist are just to stupid to understand that.

Patriots can not allow America to be destroyed at the hands of radical Islamists for the sake of diversity.

then why do hundreds of thousands want to come to the USA??
