If they can, if they can give up their preoccupation with "special rights for special people", and get back to equal rights for all, their dreams of a blue wave might come true.
What special rights are you referring too?
Anything and everything that gives people a different deal under the law based on which interest group they belong to. It's present in our tax code, civil rights legislation (protected classes and PA laws), our education bureaucracy, et. al.

So, like a tariff that gives a good deal for one group and bad for others?
Absolutely, yes. Democrats have a real opportunity to turn away from that kind of governance. I think it would be a winning move for them.
