With Course On “Diversity And Inclusion”…

El Rancho Verde Unified School District will stop requiring its high-school students to take geography and instead require them to take a class on diversity and inclusion.

ERUSD president Aurora Villon said the class is necessary because minority students “need to feel validated.”

I'm all for it...in Cal. Keep those liberal idiots as stupid as possible. The less they know about geography the harder it will be for them to find good states, move there and fuck them up.

Diversity and inclusion can be taught in other classes, make a genuine effort, instead of a PR move.

I used to wonder if Californians could muster an army of their own without having to call for support from other states to fight an invasion by the Chinese and/ or Russians.

Anymore, I just wonder if Californians will even know that there are other states to call.

Cut down on lunch time?!?!? One hour is already barely enough time to have a decent meal. Let us not forget that growing kids need their nourishment.

I say keep geography, and forget that new course. It was not required in the past, never even heard of it, so it can't really be important. We should be focusing on academic excellence, and by eliminating geography from the curriculum, these kids will be missing out on a critical aspect of their education. I can see it now, student gets accepted to Harvard to study law, there's one small detail though ... he can't pinpoint California on the map.

Not a bad idea actually. Geography can perpetuate racist and pro-western ideology without even meaning to with how global maps are drawn. As with 'North America' on "top" of 'South America' (which perpetuates the top-bottom/dominant-submissive sexual relationship roles,) and unrealistic relative sizes for countries. It's an old issue in fact and can be quickly summarized googling around for 'enviromental racism,' and 'eurocentrism.'

This is just ethnic cleansing by another name. They've already driven out almost all the white people from the school district. Only 5.9% of the students in the district are white, with 74.2% being Hispanic and 14.8% African American.

This is likely a move to get the white student population down to zero.zero.

It's interesting that they believe that their Hispanic and black students need to learn more about inclusion and diversity. Are the blacks and Hispanics at each other's throats? Enough so to warrant abandoning geography? Or do they intend to school the children in modern liberal race-based grievance culture to prepare them to be victims of white "institutional racism" when they enter the world? It surely must help minority students to learn the grievance lingo and victimization schtick.

The irony here is that this reform will increase minority student dysfunction - these kids will be less educated than kids who learn geography and this will have negative repercussions throughout the remainder of their lives. But, never fear, they'll have been taught that whitey is keeping them down.
