Cain just laid out in great detail the circumstances around the supposed SH charges

Republicans will look at this with relief. They're just glad it wasn't a "dude". Most will say, "Oh, he's a man. He's one of us".

I'm not on the, but I can say that, the fact that he has had a very long distinguished career in business, where he had 2 cases damaging allegations where bought against him, that could have affected his marriage and career. It seems to me very odd that he doesn't remember more details about the accusations. He also had some inconsistencies I his statements. I'm not saying he's guilty, but I don't think this is going away, and I think I'll reserve judgment.

Could it be that he has trouble remembering all the details because its complete fabricated bullshit?

Extortion for money because of his stature and influence?

Maybe you're right. I think we'll know more later.

Its almost a moot point, because he's not going to win regardless.

That's bullshit! The women have been barred from talking as part of their settlement agreement with the womanizer. So AQUILA Cain can say anything and they can't tell the truth unless the womanizer releases them from his agreement, which he will never do. The fact that the womanizer required silence as part of the settlement proves he has plenty to hide!!!

It doesn't Prove a god damn thing.
The libs are desperate and ignorant of the facts. Cain also stated as president of the organization he recused himself from the investigation and any subsequent agreement decisions. He also stated that the so called settlement was smaller than a typical severance package.

Libs don't want to know facts, they want to Lynch the nigga
And only yesterday the womanizer said he had no idea what he, as president of the NRA, had no idea what his organization paid out to multiple claimants. :eusa_liar:

Imagine that, a president of an organization who know nothing about what goes on in the organization he presides over. Just the kind of leader CON$ want for this great country. :cuckoo:

Herman Cain claims 'enough said,' but story inconsistent - Alexander Burns - POLITICO.com
But Cain’s story is still riddled with holes and reversals. He insisted both on Fox and at the Press Club that POLITICO’s story was based on anonymous sources that his campaign didn’t care to answer. But a POLITICO reporter gave Cain’s campaign – and the candidate himself – the name of one of the women who accused him of inappropriate behavior, and Cain still declined to comment in advance of publication.
In POLITICO’s initial report, Cain said through a spokesman he was “vaguely familiar” with harassment allegations dating to the 1990s. Now, he claims absolute certainty in his knowledge of the charges and the subsequent investigation, though not the settlements.
After POLITICO published its report Sunday night, Cain’s campaign told the Associated Press that it was flatly denying the contents. Today, Cain has confirmed much of the core of the story and denied knowledge of the rest.
And even setting aside all that, Cain hasn’t yet addressed what the allegations of harassment against him involved, how many women made accusations, what the NRA investigation showed or how he, as president of the National Restaurant Association, could have been unaware of multiple five-figure payouts to employees who left the group.

On Greta Vansusterans show. If there is any merit to this charge it will surface in the next few days. He is now completely on the record, in detail, about the situation. I know you lefties are desperate to find guilt but if a story that opposes his doesn't surface in the next couple of days this is a dead issue.

So instead of creating false prophets let's all do the responsible thing and wait and see.

I totally agree. Wait and see and hope the charges are baseless.

The best thing that could happen to the Left is if Cain stayed relevant longer and forced Romney to spend more money. Since Perry is an illiterate bozo, Cain was the last guy left who could have forced Romney to open his war chest. He was clearly attacked from the Right, who is worried that Cain might give the baby killer, RomneyCare, a tougher primary season than necessary - not least because Romney is another McCain: an amorphous opportunistic flip-flopping blob, lacking any deep political beliefs. The Republican dirty tricksters are going to have empty the chamber trying to get this soulless hairdo to the White House.

are you fucking serious? A CEO is supposed to know the severance package from 20 years ago of an organization with thousands of employees?

Your an idiot

This seems like small potatoes compared to Clinton and Paula Jones.

Clinton dropping his pants and telling the Gals to "kiss it", was just a friendly gesture...

and what did Gloria Steinem say." every boss gets one free grope.."

My understanding is that the agreement wasn't with Cain, it was with the Restaurant Association.
That he was president of!!

That doesn't change the fact they separate legal entities...
do you really believe a president of an association does not know the financial dealings of his association? First he claimed he didn't know what the multiple settlements were, now he says they were only severance packages. Do you really believe that severance packages require a gag order???

He was the President, Who's main Function is as a spokesperson and Organizer, They also have a Chief Financial Officer, who I would expect to know that info.

Do you really think it is healthy, and fair to level accusations, and make Conclusions based solely on your speculation that a GAG order must mean he has something to hide, or that what he wants to hide is Sexual Misconduct.

I thought you libs were all about Innocent until Proven Guilty? Guess that only Holds true when the Defendant is not a Conservative eh.

Get off it.

Did anyone in Obamas administration know about fast and furious?

Point being no president knows everything that his underlings do.

Cain was responsible for thousands of employees and many more stores. Do you really expect him to know about everyone's pay? If the charges were in fact baseless then I'm sure he didn't give a shit. I wouldn't.

Do you really not know I didn't say any of that and I was only referring to what BDBoop said? I'm really getting tired of really dumb people deciding to pick fights over imagined differences.

Get off your high horse. If they were barred this story wouldn't have surfaced if they wished to follow any supposed agreement. Besides Cain gave names of others involved in the situation and they are bound by nothing. If his story is suspect you can guarantee their are liberals ready and willing to pay to get a contradiction on the public record.

Your outrage us amusing.
But they are his co-conspirators in the cover-up, equally as unlikely to tell the truth as the womanizer. They are equally protected by the gag order and therefore free to lie their asses off. When they drop the gag order, then and only then will they have credibility.

So were in conspiracy land now? Over some bullshit that amounts to nothing.

Yeah, you and I are done. You better get back to the grassy hill in Dallas. You are missed by the knomes.

I follow the already established CON$ervative Gary Condit rules for sexual misconduct. CON$ would have to be hypocrites to object!

Could it be that he has trouble remembering all the details because its complete fabricated bullshit?

Extortion for money because of his stature and influence?

I have no idea what happened back then, but I feel extremely confident that the answer to your first question is "no". I haven't seen this full interview, but in response to several specific questions about the incident Cain has said he doesn't recall. Barring some sort of major mental deficiency, he would be able to definitively deny the incidents if they were completely fabricated.

As to the possibility of extortion, this is probably impossible to disprove, but I'm incredibly skeptical. First, there were two separate women (according to the Politico story). Second, they left good jobs and didn't get much money, so if they were extortionists they were remarkably poor ones. Third, a number of people, including board members seem to have taken their complaints quite seriously. Fourth, there was a long series of complaints, apparently giving Cain ample time to avoid them if he chose to do so. Fifth, Cain hasn't really definitively denied the substance of the allegations (whatever that is, exactly), instead claiming poor memory and pointing out that sexual harassment is subjective.

this is a reasoned response.

Thankyou.
