I don't by into "globalist claims"; if the EU would potentially be an equivalent to an "United States of Europe", that just seems to be another recurring historical trend. (For one, the internet, world wide web, or mass media in general, particularily social media via the Information Age reaches a huge "global audience".

Regardless, I'm not against Brexit, nor am I infatuated with the hysterical and sensationalist claims against it, which don't elaborate on the opposition with any more depth than somehow tying it to clichés such as "racism" or "xenophobia", as if the EU and its history is as childish and simplistic as that.
