From everything I can find they haven't said much since their initial statements, other than an official brought him up at the Ansbach press conference and stated he, along with the bomber had both passed security checks. It is known he had been arrested previously for physical attacks.

He killed the pregnant Polish lady during the attack, and injured 5 others, though originally it was thought to be 3. He also attacked some people in a car, injuring them blowing out the windows and attacking them with the cleaver.

The Syrian man who blew himself up in Ansbach, Germany, on Sunday made a video pledging allegiance to the leader of so-called Islamic State, Bavaria's interior minister says.
