What is shocking about it? Louisiana is home to red neck fascist Republicans. They were going to pick up the seat anyway. Want to talk about special elections in swing states that have gone Democrat?
You want to talk about fraud?

Term limits means that he could no longer run for governor.

The guy was popular and the party affiliation didn't matter because the voters respected the man.

You don't win reelection as the governor unless they like your policy. It appears that even republicans probably voted for him. He beat republican candidates twice for governor.

LA is a red state but they voted for the man who was the governor since 2016. He was in the LA congress for many years.

Yep, and now he can be respected from a distance.

Yet the link clearly states for one year. Also the point of choosing incumbents is well taken by the report and sticking with heavily favorites is a no brainer.

I guess after backing Hershel Walker, it was best to go with the ones seeking reelection.
