The new season is off to a very slow start with lots of reminiscent flashbacks and too much jumping from one scenario to another, then another, then another. Too much going on in one episode.

So looks like Boardwalk Emprire is limping off to its series finale

Predictions on the final episode:

1. In flashback, Nucky and his wife will take in Gillian to help with the baby. We know Nucky loses his wife and has no children so it seems both his wife and baby will die in childbirth and Gillian will be at fault for something she did either intentionally or by accident

2. Heartbroken at losing the love of his life, Nucky will give Gillian to the child molesting Commodore. The Commodore will be thrilled at having a young girl where he doesn't have to pay off the parents and rewards Nucky by making him sheriff

3. We know Lucky Luciano, Meyer Lansky and Bugsy Segal become big time powerful gangsters so Nuckys offer to give up his Atlantic City rackets will stand

4. Al Capone goes to jail for tax evasion

5. The series started with prohibition and will end with its repeal. Nucky will be left with nothing. Meyer Lansky will have taken his Baccardi Rum business and his days in Atlantic City will be over

6. William Thompson will become a bigtime crimefighter as payback for his kidnapping and the sacrifice Nucky made to save him

7. Eli will end up a drunken half-crazy bum living under the boardwalk

8. Nucky will visit Gillian in the mental hospital to try to make up for what he did to her, Gillian will kill him in revenge and end up a victim of the mad doctors experiments

9. Margaret will invest heavily in the Plymouth stock scam which will be worth a fortune after prohibition ends

10. Nucky's loyal assistant who Nucky gave his last $1000 with instructions to be a plumber, accountant or anything else but this.... will take the money and what Nucky taught him about building empires in Atlantic City and devise a board game about building empires in Atlantic City. He will name it Monopoly. The final scene will be a pan in on a Monopoly board with hotels on Boardwalk
