Black on Black racial insults tolerated?

All the examples you lefties try to justify concern jokes and banter and a willing exchange of insults. Don't you even consider that a talk show host humiliated a Black female candidate with racial slurs? Are Black people so concerned with defending liberalism that they think it's funny for a Black woman to be humiliated in public? That's an incredible attitude.

Talk show host....that's what they do

That's it? The left thinks a talk show host has the option to offend Black guests on the air with offensive racial insults any time he wants as long as he is Black? What if people don't know he is Black. Does the left think he has to announce his racial ethnicity first before he insults Black people? Would the left allow a white radio talk show host to use racial slurs if the guest was also white?

Yes blacks can call other blacks ******.

Yes a black talk show host can call another black a ******. If a white talk show host called a black person a ****** that host should be beaten within an inch of his/her life. That's just the world the world works.

Chris Rock justified it best

Fat girls can call each other fat and it is no big deal. If a skinny girl calls them fat, it is just plain mean

Poor people can joke about how poor they are. But if a rich person makes jokes about poor people, it is just plain mean

Same goes with the word n*gger

Yeah, I don't know why this is so hard to understand.

Blacks are allowed to call each other the N Word......whites are not

What's so hard about that?

No, they are not. What is so hard about that?

Words have different meanings in different situations. There are no absolutes

The situations, though, are not dictated by the individual belief. You live in a community, and you abide by its rules or suffer the consequence. You and or anyone else who used that word at the work place or in our school district would suffer the unhappy results of using it.

When we deal with young children, we teach them that there are good words and bad words and they are not allowed to use bad words
With adults we expect them to be able to recognize the nuances of the language and realize that a word can be used in some instances and not others
Whites are not allowed to say n*gger but blacks are allowed when talking among themselves
That is one of our social nuances

Not in the work place, not in the school.

But, no, blacks are not allowed to use the word any more than any other person.

Yes they are.

Blacks can use it....whites can't

That's the way it works

Not at all. Try it in the work place and the school, and you will see you are wrong. Very quickly.

I was born and raised in South Brooklyn (the Waterfront) which at that time (30s, 40s, 50s) was inhabited almost totally by Italians. We are Dutch/German. All of my closest friends were Italian. I grew up with them and was accepted by them. They sometimes referred to each other offhandedly as "guineas." I suppose I could have gotten away with doing the same but I knew it would not be welcome usage, mainly because back then Italians were still regarded as second-class citizens while I was one of the fully privileged.

"The American negro will not truly be free until the word ****** no longer troubles him. Because the striking of chains and the death of Jim Crow does not free the mind." (James Baldwin; speaking at Columbia University, December, 1964.)

If the guy is a classless liberal, what are you gonna do? The come in all shapes, sizes and colors and they can't help but be asses.

It's about Black women isn't it? No wonder nobody on the left defended Dr. Condie Rice when the papers ran disgusting cartoons about her. Chris Rock said the "N" word so everything is OK? What a bunch of hypocrites.

What have you done to right this wrong?

Nothing, you've politicized the issue for your own partisan gain.

The issue is clouded by politics but maybe not. Maybe the reason the American left thinks that it's OK to confront Black women with racially insulting comments goes back to the good old days when democrats like Senator Gore were segregationists. Maybe Black men have been taught by a couple of generations of liberal education and LBJ's "great society" to disrespect Black women. Disrespect for Black women and women in general has nothing to do with Chris Rock. It seems to be a generation thing and a fact of life in liberal culture these days.

She's running for office, but she needs a white man to come to her defense. Do you think Maxine Waters would handle a black talk show host who called her a ******?

What does it come down to now? The Black woman who was insulted with racial slurs didn't "handle herself" well enough? You liberal hypocrites and/or woman haters are digging yourselves deeper and deeper into the bigot hole.

Imus was a talk show host when he mentioned "nappy-headed hoes" and he certainly didn't get that kind of pass.

Go back and read the thread

Imus is white and his nappy headed hoes is innapropriate

All such language by anybody is inappropriate, and such usage should always be publicized and demonized.
