Big Brother Rakin It In: Feds Set Tax Haul Record: $472 Billion In One Month...

The problem with governments is not the revenue they take in, it is how they spend that money.

The far left has shown that over bloated social programs are one of the worst way to spend money.

Good ole Big Brother, always has his hand in your pocket, huh?

The Federal Government set a record tax haul in April, taking in nearly a half-trillion dollars in one month alone, according to CBO stats released Thursday...

DRUDGE REPORT 2015
As the economy recovers, we will see more revenues from higher incomes.

Also, as the baby boomers begin retiring and drawing from their tax-deferred retirement accounts, revenues will rise.

The rate of increased spending has also slowed, so deficits will shrink.

Nah, it's more likely that both revenue and spending will increase. We may see a temporary restraint in spending, but it will only be temporary. Big Brother can't help himself. The spending will outpace the revenue eventually.

Remember, there's lots more Wars to fight, lots more special interests to pay off. and lots & lots more Entitlements to come.

What would you like to see them do? And would the other side go along?

I'd like to see them spend $1.2 trillion dollars without bitching about the Dems spending money ... watch the clip .. House Appropriations Committee .. apparently Obama went along with it.

Since tax rates haven't changed from last year, increases in revenues are due to increases in incomes.

How is this a bad thing? You made the big haul sound like it was.

So what's your point?

Just think how much greater the monthly haul would be if us rich folks paid our fair, or fairer, share, huh? It would be oh so rewarding to know we provided even more handouts to those on the downside of the inequality curve, or whatever the latest liberal PC claptrap might be.

Spending is already out pacing the income of revenue, that is part of the problem.

When they discuss cutting the budget it is based on future cuts on future spending, not cutting current spending.

How about a law that if Congress spends more than they take in, they do not get paid..

Our entire U.S. Senate is made up of Multimillionaires and Billionaires. So i don't see that mattering very much to em. They're royalty now. They don't live like the rest of us. They're the Ruling-Class Elite. They no longer represent the People. They represent themselves.

Unfortunately, it isn't only the Democrats. The Republicans are every bit for Big Government. Just go back and check out Bush's mess. But here's a good laugh for ya.

Obama says Bush 'Un-Patriotic' for raising the Debt...

Do you like driving on the roads, getting warned about that storm, funding the best r&d??? Well, 100% of developed first world countries do this and so do we.

You either accept that you're going to be taxed or aaccept living in Haiti.

Yes every time you post this garbage you show you clearly do not understand what you post.

The money for roads are spent at the state level not the federal level, one day you will learn that.

I do wish we'd stop handing out welfare and fix the real problems causing our debt. Infrastructure, science, r&d and education hasn't want up in decades. So I ask you one question! How is it the problem? I know you're looking at these things when you make threads like this but this shows that you don't have a clue.

It means that you look at 90% of this country and say that they shouldn't have them. Hell, 100% as simply without government spending we wouldn't be a first world country.

People like Op doesn't believe America should be a first world country. Period. I am not saying our leaders aren't spending far more with little or no accountability then we should, but that isn't the reason he makes threads like this one.

How exactly is the the lowest % of our gdp being spent on infrastructure in 20 years = more debt? How exactly is it the problem.

And you keep showing that you do not understand much about what you post about.

Most of the spending of what you want is done a state level not a federal level, so unless you are a far left drone and want Washington to control all that spending then you just show your true colors again..

Yet they still stand up there telling us how they NEED to raise more TAXES so they can pay pay pay for this overbearing now Fascist monster (filled with bureaucrats/mindless drones, and agencies on top of agencies) government

But according to the sheep. it's the Tea party who has a problem.

this is sickening
