Meanwhile, a memo has emerged showing exactly how Trump’s attorneys cooked up a plan by which Mike Pence could simply ignore the outcome of the election, declare Trump the winner, and throw the nation into chaos. In response, Pence sought advice from several sources, including Dan Quayle, while trying “over and over” to find a way to make Trump’s scheme work.
In the same week, a second memo has surfaced showing that Trump’s campaign was fully aware that the voter fraud claims they were making were a lie. As Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell were marching out to rile Trump supporters with claims about Venezuelan dictators and votes being counted in Europe, they already knew it was all nonsense. Nonsense with no purpose than to justify a continued assault on democratic systems.
Now Politico is reporting that the pace of the Jan. 6 investigation is picking up speed with a focus on one specific target—Trump. Not only is The Washington Post reporting that the Biden White House is considering releasing documents that detail the actions of Trump and his aides on Jan. 6, but one committee staffer says that the document request has already netted responses from seven executive branch agencies.
Things may finally be moving. And it’s about time.
Sorry Donny, there is no executive privilege, and no court can stop the transfer of those documents. Benghazi is getting ready to look like the piker BS it was, as this investigation goes on. And there isn't any statute of limitations for anyone involved.
