Bernie Sanders Stands Up For The Middle Class By Dropping a Huge Fact Bomb On The Senate

[2. Economists and reality disagree with yous

I'm not debating an idiot who makes shit up. I actually know what I'm talking about

And that can remain your secret. Like whatever your gender is.

Teenage years are tough, especially those of you going through a gender identity crisis. Hang in there, it does end eventually. Then you'll know which door to enter

Bernie Sanders Stands Up For The Middle Class and Drops a Huge Fact Bomb On The Senate

Hopefully you reached one idiot republican Bernie. Their's is coming in 2016 when we elect someone who gives a shit about the poor.

Your thread should be closed for creating a post with a link and no content.

And you and Bernie are smoking dope, the minimum wage is a pure job killer. When you can explain how the two of you know more about economics than economists do let me know, that would be an interesting discussion.
1. There is content your are just blind.
2. Economists and reality disagree with you.
What Really Happens When You Raise The Minimum Wage ThinkProgress

lol, STINKprogress. are you kidding....holy smokes

the guardian are proven liars and nothing but propagandist

try again. you know what? we aren't all stupid in this country
Go play in your american spring idiot. I won't use propaganda sites like faux news. Get over it.

Faux News? Hearing both sides of an issue is just too confusing for you, isn’t it Poindexter? Yes, only a fake news channel would let both sides speak for themselves. The liberal media has already reviewed what we need to know about other ideas, which is nothing, and that’s what they pass along. Thinking is at best a waste of time and probably dangerous

that sums a lot of them up. and when challenged they get all nasty and pouty.
typical of a liberal snob

And that was only "number one" of that correction. You have yet to address numbers two, three or four. Nor post 14.
But it's not like it's making a giant sucking sound in its vacuum and exposing the bereftity of your diversions to "Marxian fuckees" or anything.

Economics advocates economic efficiency. I don't even need my education or experience to know that. You haven't even made the first step towards having enough knowledge to be worth discussing this. All you have is your kool aid chugging

Bereftity?

Yup, new word of the day. I kill me. Coulda gone with bereftification or bereftitude, opted for pithy.

So 100+ posts later you still have no answer. Thanks for clearing that up.
Then you want to question my linguistic invention? Do your own homework first. :eusa_hand:

The profit incentive and self-reliance and the Christian Morals and Jeffersonian Ideals built in America the greatest society thus far established on this planet. And you Commune-ists/Socialists are determined to fuck it up because it ain't perfect, and I suspect, because of a deep seated jealousy.

I think you people in Vermont ought to drink only bottled water for now. Something is fucked up in Vermont.
the Christian Morals

:laugh2:

The whole history of these books [the Gospels] is so defective and doubtful that it seems vain to attempt minute enquiry into it: and such tricks have been played with their text, and with the texts of other books relating to them, that we have a right, from that cause, to entertain much doubt what parts of them are genuine. In the New Testament there is internal evidence that parts of it have proceeded from an extraordinary man; and that other parts are of the fabric of very inferior minds. It is as easy to separate those parts, as to pick out diamonds from dunghills.

-Thomas Jefferson, letter to John Adams, January 24, 1814

And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerve in the brain of Jupiter. But may we hope that the dawn of reason and freedom of thought in these United States will do away with this artificial scaffolding, and restore to us the primitive and genuine doctrines of this most venerated reformer of human errors.

-Thomas Jefferson, Letter to John Adams, April 11, 1823

Christianity neither is, nor ever was a part of the common law.

-Thomas Jefferson, letter to Dr. Thomas Cooper, February 10, 1814

From the article linked in the OP:

"Sen. Sanders said, 'The simple truth is that in America people working full time should not be living in poverty.' "

But in fact, there is no "right" to a comfortable existence simply because you do something 8 hours a day. If someone spends that time painting a wall green, then painting it blue, then green again etc. he will "live in poverty", as he deserves.

Sanders started his speech with a flat lie.

So much for the "fact bomb". It's a dud.

You did this before, got corrected, and now you're right back to doing it again.

Once again for the slow readers:

"Should" is not the same concept as "has a right to".

What part of that is flying over your head?
All of it apparently...

Very true. Too bad Sanders forgot that. He's trying to get government to do something about it... which government can't do, as years of experience have shown. Nor does it have any authorization to do.

Government can only protect our rights. It can't "take care of us".... again, as experience has repeatedly shown. Things only get worse overall when it tries.

That points out the nature of the lie Sanders tried to base his speech on.

His "fact bomb" was a dud from the start.

Governments have taken care of some Americans since the nation began and it still takes care of some. I wonder if those taken care of would agree that it gets worse when government tries to help?

Government has taken care of literally everybody as regards... roads and highways... air traffic... drinkable water... edible food.... safe medicines ... public libararies, musems, parks... public health and disease control... etc etc, NONE of which has diddlysquat to do with codified "rights".

You can teach a parrot to repeat phrases; you can't teach the bird to understand what it's saying. Randbots are the same way.

We might as well give up the fight and all our freedoms over to the "the Government"

the entitled citizens of today want the government to take care of them . they don't care it's coming OFF the backs of taxpayers. No pride anymore

He's the ONLY person who speaks up for the middle and lower class. The others willingly throw it under the bus and don't want it to succeed. If you are middle or lower class, there isn't a chance you are going to get ahead. There never has been. Its all about the 1 percent and corporations from here on out. A sure way to ensure the collapse of America.

I can't figure out why we do everything to protect the uber wealthy so hard? They've never had it better and we just keep on falling over ourselves as a country to protect them.

Yet no one will vote for this guy.

Somebody voted for him. He is in the Senate, is he not?

And before that he was in the House, and a four-term mayor before that. Once he was elected he won his elections easily --- without a political party. At one point the Democratic and Republican parties teamed up and ran a joint candidate -- and he still won.
