Bennie usually begins his presentations with an absurd summary of the Old Testament that leaves out the part of Yahweh hating the the 12 tribes of Israel. That oversight notwithstanding, the UN or whatever did not interrupt and point out the Old Testament is mythology and should not be a basis for public policy. A few minutes ago he described an agreement with a Persian king back in the old days and why can't the new guy be like the old guy.

Netty and Israel is shitting it's pants that Iran will get a nuke program and Assad will keep some of it's chems.

But that's what it's looking like.

On Mondoweiss, American Jews of conscience, that refers to American Jews who oppose the unjust Occupation in Palestine, have been guessing what he would say the past few days.

You probably would get a kick out of reading the post below.

Mondoweiss readers predict Netanyahu’s presentation to the U.N.

If I were israeli I'd be shitting my pants too. But I think a country that refuses to admit it has a nuclear or chemweap program, has refused to sign international accords on nuke and chem proliferation and refuses to have those nonexistent weapons facilities inspected by UN inspectors has little room to talk about anyone else.

The new Persian King is nothing like the old Persian King-----the old Persian
king was a ZOROASTRIAN-------if the present Persian king were ---(if only
he were) a zoroastrian-----things would be very different. An interesting
remnant of the past is the fact that TODAY----and in the past centuries during
which tiime persons who fled islamo nazi persecution Iran and---other parts of
"DAR ALISLAM"-----both jews and zoroastrians ended up in BOMBAY (MUMBAI)
and-----get along very very well there-----with each other and the rest of the
population----WITH ONE GLARING EXCEPTION-----Mumbai has a very diverse
population-----hindus, muslims, christians, jews and zoroastrians------guess which
ONE GROUP----the rest cite as the "troublesome" one?

for the record---there was ----in ancient times----a tiny bit of problem---
involving religious beliefs between jews and zoroastrians living in the
good old days----not much----just a little.

Myths are stories and never become facts.
Like the God Zeus or Odin. Neither one ever gave prophecies of the future.

Prophecy in the old Testament has happened and every single one of them has come true. Prophecy given to Daniel about the punishment and the future of Israel and the of return of the Jews to their homeland, was written over two and a half thousand years ago.

God said that the land would be desolate until the return of the Jews and then it would come back to life and flourish again.

Israelis are living on the Mountains of Israel in certain areas that no one wanted anything to do with for thousands of years because nothing could be done with the land. It was desolate. Arabs could not grow anything on them.
Those Mountains today are lush and green.

Snoutie----whether or not there is a "GOD" who spoke to anyone----the
fact is that the bible is an historic record ----the fact that jews were---like
all the people in the middle east involved in lots of wars and the fact that
at that time WINNERS placed country leaders in exile happens to be HISTORY---
the fact that jews were under persian control is HISTORY---and the fact
that a nice guy zoroastrian --CYRUS decided to let jews go back to
re-establish their country---and organized the people who remained back
there happens to be HISTORY--------how long have you been stupid?

Whether or not Athena talked to ODYSSEUS-----the fact is that the
Greeks and Trojans did fight each other

as for Beowulf-----well-----maybe--maybe not

Blahblahblahblahblah

WHAT nonsense!

The Bible is not History, as one or more delusional posters here seems to think.

AND as for Prophecy, there are as many or more ways to interpret the words as there are drops of water in the ocean.

Yet you keep bringing Christianity as a base to your crazy opinions.

Pot, Kettle, black.

I was addressing a poster using The Old Testament to prove specific past acts occurred.

I dont do that.

This thread is totally stupid.

Netanyahu brought up certain bible aspects to open his speech.

He didn't base anything on it.

Total waste of time, and a lie it is, to discuss that even

I have no need of The Old Testament.

I have Salvation and a relationship with Jesus under The New Covenant.

Out with the old, in with the new.
