Let's see. Has Bannon distanced himself in anyway from the his extremists....

Coyote. Bannon is not part of Alternative Right. He has no extremists to back away from. And apart from a wife who in the middle of a divorce and custody battle decided to turn him into an anti Semite all of a sudden there is no evidence whatsoever that he's an anti Semite.

These charges are false.

Bannon is closely associated with alt-right and white supremicists. He's hosted them on his radio show, and given them an online haven. Many Jews are highly uncomfortable with him, as are many blacks and Muslims, and those feelings seems to run across the political spectrum.

The Jews he has worked with at Breitbart respect and admire him. As do many Jews outside of Breitbart. You don't get an endorsement from the ZOA or Israelis and not be liked or respected.

Yet he is still the figure head of bigotry for the alt right, the which you apparently are fine.

No he's not. The figure head for the alt right is widely thought of as Spencer. Not Bannon. Never has been. Never will be.

Got any proof for that. No? Didn't think you did.

Problem is...it's not blown up. National Review had a great article on it. You miss the point in your automatic defense of Bannon. Whether he is or is not anti-semite or racist - he supports those who are.

Do you guys remember that crazy dystopian YA novel-turned-hit-movie where we elected a racist, misogynistic former reality TV star to the Oval Office, and then he appointed his beloved-by-White-Nationalists media mogul buddy as his chief strategist, and hate crimes surged across a post-lapsarian America?
Oh wait, that was real life! Wild, right? Like seriously, somebody better option this shit. Jennifer Lawrence is gonna be great as the scrappy white heroine who emerges to save us all.
In the meantime, Angelenos are planning to rally outside of City Hall this Wednesday night to protest President-elect Donald Trump's appointment of former Breitbart News chief Stephen Bannon to the Trump White House. Tonight's protest, which was announced on Facebook, is planned for 7 p.m. at City Hall. So far, almost 10,000 people have expressed plans to attend or interest in attending tonight's rally on the event's Facebook page, though actually numbers will likely not be quite so high. There were an estimated 8,000 attendees at Saturday's anti-Trump protest.
