CANBERRA (Reuters) – Australia's government said on Monday it had ordered the expulsion of an Israeli diplomat over the use of fake passports in the assassination of a top Hamas militant in Dubai in January.

Foreign Minister Stephen Smith said a police investigation had left no doubt Israeli intelligence services had been behind the forgery of four Australian passports used by suspects in the killing of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in a Dubai hotel room.

"These investigations and advice have left the government in no doubt that Israel was responsible for the abuse and counterfeiting of these passports," Smith told Australia's parliament. "These are not the actions of a friend."

So, if some terrorists were go to ANY country,

steal some of those citizen's identies,

get passports under those assumed id's

and then go somewhere and kill someone that was an enemy of Israel,

whatever country the citizens with the stolen id's were from could/WOULD ask Israeli diplomats to leave the country???

What am I missing? 'Cuz that sounds like something that might happen on Bizarro World.

How do the Australians KNOW that the passports were made by the Israeli GOVERNMENT?

I really don't agree with this, since NO PROOF, whatsoever, is offered, and I'm so far beyond just Trusting That The Gov Wouldn't LIE To Me.
