Audience Member Hurls Book at Obama During Philly Speech

Funny that.

No Liberal refers to anyone as a "Messiah". We don't want or need any.

When we call him the Messiah, that's because of the drooling hordes that worship him, not aimed at Obama himself.

Soooo...it is the non-supporters who call him the Messiah. Ok.

Don't make me post all that stuff on the previous page again please. I hate repeating myself. But you can see for yourself that the moniker was justified and it was the lefty Obama supporters who started it.

Here's some more quotes though that added fuel to the fire:

"Obama is, of course, greater than Jesus."-- Politiken (Danish newspaper)

"No one saw him coming, and Christians believe God comes at us from strange angles and places we don't expect, like Jesus being born in a manger."--Lawrence Carter

"Many even see in Obama a messiah-like figure, a great soul, and some affectionately call him Mahatma Obama."-- Dinesh Sharma

"We just like to say his name. We are considering taking it as a mantra."-- Chicago] Sun-Times

"A Lightworker -- An Attuned Being with Powerful Luminosity and High-Vibration Integrity who will actually help usher in a New Way of Being"-- Mark Morford

"What Barack Obama has accomplished is the single most extraordinary event that has occurred in the 232 years of the nation’s political history"-- Jesse Jackson, Jr.

"Does it not feel as if some special hand is guiding Obama on his journey, I mean, as he has said, the utter improbability of it all?"-- Daily Kos

"He communicates God-like energy..."-- Steve Davis (Charleston, SC)

"Not just an ordinary human being but indeed an Advanced Soul"-- Commentator @ Chicago Sun Times

"I'll do whatever he says to do. I'll collect paper cups off the ground to make his pathway clear."-- Halle Berry

"A quantum leap in American consciousness"-- Deepak Chopra

"He is not operating on the same plane as ordinary politicians. . . . the agent of transformation in an age of revolution, as a figure uniquely qualified to open the door to the 21st century."
-- Gary Hart

"Barack Obama is our collective representation of our purest hopes, our highest visions and our deepest knowings . . . He's our product out of the all-knowing quantum field of intelligence."
-- Eve Konstantine

"[Obama is ] creative imagination which coupled with brilliance equals wisdom . . . [He is] the man for this time."-- Toni Morrison

"Obama has the capacity to summon heroic forces from the spiritual depths of ordinary citizens and to unleash therefrom a symphonic chorus of unique creative acts whose common purpose is to tame the soul and alleviate the great challenges facing mankind."-- Gerald Campbell

"We're here to evolve to a higher plane . . . he is an evolved leader . . . [he] has an ear for eloquence and a Tongue dipped in the Unvarnished Truth."-- Oprah Winfrey

How come the only people referring to our current President as "the Messiah" are slow witted righties?

Oh yeah it is just those evil 'righties' who perpetuate that. . . .

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srk18X804hQ"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srk18X804hQ[/ame]

It started with Oprah calling Obama “The One.”

It started with Obama saying stuff like:
“I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal”

“This guy was president before I was . . . This guy was God before I was.” – Barack Obama -in reference to Morgan Freeman’s portrayal in “Deep Impact and “Bruce Almighty”

“This is bigger than Kennedy. . . . This is the New Testament.” . . .”I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don’t have that too often. No, seriously. It’s a dramatic event.” — Chris Matthews

“Obama’s finest speeches do not excite. They do not inform. They don’t even really inspire. They elevate. . . . He is not the Word made flesh, but the triumph of word over flesh . . . Obama is, at his best, able to call us back to our highest selves.” — Ezra Klein

“I would characterize the Senate race as being a race where Obama was, let’s say, blessed and highly favored. That’s not routine. There’s something else going on. I think that Obama, his election to the Senate, was divinely ordered. . . . I know that that was God’s plan.”– Bill Rush

“I cried all night. I’m going to be crying for the next four years,” he said. “What Barack Obama has accomplished is the single most extraordinary event that has occurred in the 232 years of the nation’s political history. … The event itself is so extraordinary that another chapter could be added to the Bible to chronicle its significance.” — Rev. Jesse Jackson Jr.

You were saying???????

Saying.......Thank you for proving that even though these Obama loving media people were so enamored by man and the situation, they never once used the term "the Messiah". That is strictly a term used by the rabid right to denigrate the above performance by said media personalities. Obviouly anyone who supported Obama for President was brought to that position by Oprah, or Rev. Jackson, or....... So it becomes another good sound bite for the hate-radio-gods to use to fill the ears of their brain dead listeners.

LOL, so calling Bush, BushHitler, Chimpy, Shurb, McChimpy, etc etc was JUST a soundbite from the RABID hating people on the LEFT.

When I read the first part, I thought that it was pretty unfair to criticize the Secret Service for the incident. I mean, who thinks of a book as a potential weapon?

Then I read the part about the naked guy. OK, is it just me or isn't there something just a bit unusual about a nekkid guy standing within 1000 feet of a President? Whether or not he was clothed when he was screened doesn't matter. At one point, he got naked. With all those eyes, cameras and other security technologies scanning the crowd for ANYTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY, someone should have noticed the naked man in the crowd! It's not exactly the same difficulty as finding Waldo. I mean, people around him had to react at least when he dropped his drawers. At some point, someone had to point and say, "Hey! That dude's nekkid!"

It could have easly have been a pair of throwing stars.

LOL, it's the looney lefties if you please. And yes I believe there were/are hoards of brain dead loonies looking to their own media gods for their fix (hour of hate).

The media is the champion of the fight.

Divided we fall.

That's another reason for the GOP or anyone BUT Democrats to have more power, so the media will do their jobs again instead of the love affair they have now with Barak Hussein O and the corrupot horde.

If the guy who threw the book really wanted to hurt him. He would have used a copy of the Tax code.

only he would not have been able to lift it.

Right. I posted a different video of the same speech. But that and all the other 'messianic like' and 'supernatural' language used to describe Obama sure as heck didn't come from the Right. :)

because of it....So now the left wants to....
Ban baseball.
