Does TrumpUSA capitalism feel like a sermon or a sales-pitch?

9 Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn (Ruth 2, KJV)

Athena, goddess of wisdom, was engaged by an underworld dark sprite named Shadow about the contours and insights offered by capitalism. Athena was optimistic about the intrigue surrounding 'TrumpUSA' (21st Century American capitalism!), while Shadow was brooding about the sociological impact of the mass of consumers and traffic creating all sorts of confetti. The two had both read the Christian Bible (the dominantly popular religious text in modern human civilization) and agreed that special passages in the iconic Book of Ruth (especially 2:9) captured a capitalist's 'special fascination' with the 'shape' of bounty.

ATHENA: It seems capitalism requires mostly patience...
SHADOW: Stockbrokers scramble to beat the odds!
ATHENA: It's a trading-floor pageantry of skill.
SHADOW: There's little room for grace, eh?
ATHENA: You know much about 'cunning' (being a shadow!).
SHADOW: You know something about swiftness (being a goddess).
ATHENA: Capitalism requires ministry of wisemen and warlocks.
SHADOW: If that's true, then TrumpUSA may be a 'carnival.'
ATHENA: Yes, TrumpUSA is filled with 'coloring characters.'
SHADOW: The Book of Ruth suggests profit is a ritual.

Athena agreed with the mysterious underworld figure named 'Shadow' that capitalism was like a carnival or circus and that TrumpUSA was complex by its own contradictions. However, the goddess suggested to the dark sprite that capitalism also benefits from the counsel of wisemen who offer ideas about patience and sometimes even warlocks who offer ideas about ingenuity and marketing. Shadow believed the best way to 'save' capitalism/TrumpUSA was to harness its powers of investment and risk-bravado and therefore create an umbrella of intrigue. Athena complemented this noteworthy suggestion by adding that capitalism/TrumpUSA can be 'enhanced' with notions of amenities. Who was ultimately correct?
