At Least 1 Killed When Wind Uprooted Tent at Festival near Chicago - ABC News
That's terrible. Good thing I didn't visit the festival. Who was even installing that tent? Why they didn't prepare for the event properly? They should have known that there is a strong wind these days. A person died because the event planners didn't understand that they should have had checked the weather forecast before installing the tent. I hope those who got injured will recover soon.

Shit happens. I had a pop up tent anchored to a fence and a large generator, get torn to pieces by a dust devil one year at the Air Races. The wind broke it in half and left the part attached to the fence and blew the rest away.
