Zone1 As in the days of Noah.................

Matthew 24:37-39

New International Version

37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

The Bible warns us of a society that will return to the state of depravity that existed during the time of Noah. Have we arrived?

In this world of Soros like attitude of not holding people accountable for their wrongs to society, men like George Floyd are held up as heroes even after breaking laws, getting high as a kite, and resisting arrest. Is it any wonder then that the same society that produced George Floyd and made him a hero also gives us police officers that may abuse their powers as well in the manner in which they conduct themselves? In such a permissive society, corruption and violence can only get worse as college students sing "gas the Jews" with the approval of society.

Today we have a populace that is addicted to either porn or illicit drugs, that seems to target children more than any other group. In addition, society is also now telling these same children that the answer to their ills may be a sex change before they reach puberty.

I view Christ as our ark. Climb aboard or get left behind.

Speak for yourself.

I would assume large vessels were built on skid beams next to bodies of water. So I would assume the OP's point was that the ship wasn't built next to a body of water.

Large ships?. Dhows hugged the coastlines and they weren't very big. Neither were the barges used by the city states to haul stuff down the Euphrates River.

Seems like it was implied to me that the OP was saying the ark wasn't built near a body of water.

Why would I want to argue about the details of something I believe is an allegorical account of a historical event which used embellishment to make philosophical points concerning morality.
What are you, the OP's lawyer? For a guy who does not want to argue, you sure have a lot of things to say.

Large vessels, ships, point still stands. If it's too big to carry to the water it can't be built away from where it will be launched. Why do you people try and make big deals out of nothing.

No, I'm just using common sense. But keep making a big deal out of it. Seems important to you.

Lolol 😂😂😂 doesn't matter. Remember. The whole earth flooded to cover the mountaintops.

Great Flood stories are all over the planet; that's because marine fossils are found high up on mountain sides all over the globe, like on Mount Ararat, for instance, also on the Himalayas. Even the Mayans have one. Nobody has to steal anything from other peoples.

Great Flood stories are a natural result of such finds by ancient peoples.

The Himalayan mountains are still getting taller.

You're arguing about a Sumerian myth.

What I am hoping for is for the next great revival to come sooner than later. Things may seem as bad as they can get right now, but over the centuries when everything seemed to be at its worst, when most people had given up on religion and dishonest unethical monarchs were allied with dishonest self serving Church heirarchy to increase their own fortunes, something--God?--intervened. The people experienced a revival that returned them to the goodness that humankind is capable of.

Think even with the lawless and hooligans doing their worst out there, how much more ethical and promoting of quality of life most developed countries are compared to those long ago. So it can happen.

Read up. Or not I dont care if you want to inform yourself.

organized religion is not far from organized crime in the sense that they're both fairly distanced from God FF

That seems as accurate as saying it's just as reasonable to believe in Santa Clause as it is God.
