So it would be best to go to the hospital to have tests done. Some of those conditions you just linked are very serious.

A fever is completely normal for 99% of the times, when it just means your body is fighting off a cold, flu, etc.
There is nothing a hospital can do for 99% of the things that can causes fever.
And since it takes a day or two to get lab results back anyway, there is no reason to simply not wait and see if it the fever breaks normally, as it does 99% of the time.
None of the conditions warrant going to a hospital right away, and they can all wait 24 hours to see, first.

And all the hospital would do is say to wait 24 hours to see if the fever breaks on its own, because it is nearly impossible to determine the cause of a high fever unless there is some localized pain also associated, like a swollen appendix.

The Doctor notified DCS and they went to court to get the authorization to get the children. They had a warrant and the parents would not let them in.

The doctor has no authority to testify as to the need for a warrant.
He essentially lied.
The judge violated the law by issuing one.
The police and DCS were committing a crime, should have known better, and need to be prosecuted for their crimes.

There is no police version.
The doctor never saw the child and never took its temperature.
There was never any knowledge by the police as to what was happening at all.

You could legally get a judge to order an EMT to take the child's temperature, but not to remove the child.
That requires taking custody, and that authority the judge did not have, without any actual evidence.

Not sure why it matters, but there is such as thing as a police medic, in that police hire specially trained med techs for things like drawing DUI blood samples.
A public nurse could have been used instead.

The child had a 105 fever? 104 is brain damage territory if they don't bring it down quickly.
