A fever is completely normal for 99% of the times, when it just means your body is fighting off a cold, flu, etc.
There is nothing a hospital can do for 99% of the things that can causes fever.
And since it takes a day or two to get lab results back anyway, there is no reason to simply not wait and see if it the fever breaks normally, as it does 99% of the time.
None of the conditions warrant going to a hospital right away, and they can all wait 24 hours to see, first.
