A day after setting up an account on an international website to solicit tips in the murder of Anne Pressly, police are adding a tool to get more information on the case.

It's a special tip hotline at 501-517-0750. The website is tipsubmit.com.

Pressly was severely beaten in her home on Oct. 20. She died a few days later. A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

The most recent rumor says that Jermaine Taylor’s wife had a hit man arrested to kill Anne Pressley because she was secretly pregnant with Jermaine’s baby and that the police department know this and are not releasing that fact. They also believe that both Jermaine Taylor and his wife have been arrested but the police are keeping that secret also. The police even had to issue a statement saying only one person has been arrested, that there are no other suspects, and that they will not respond to rumors.

Other rumors:

1. Anne Pressly was actually a man at one time and had a sex change.
2. That she was dating popular Littler Rock boxer Jermaine Taylor
3. That Jermaine Taylor beat her to death when he found out she was once a man

Is there any chance that one or all of these rumors are possible? Let’s wait for the findings from police investigation.

Curtis Vance's attorneys says they plan to rest first thing in the morning when court resumes. Then closing arguements will begin. Vance is accused of murdering KATV anchorwoman Anne Pressly.

As I mentioned earlier, the rumors are flying. I know a surgical nurse who was at the hospital the night Anne Pressly was admitted and it was determined Ms. Pressly was pregnant. This information was never released to the press. The working theory is that Jermaine Taylor and Ms. Pressly were having an affair and she got pregnant. (Jermaine Taylor may be married with children, but it's well known that he's a philanderer.) It is believed that Taylor had her killed, but was very careful to cover his tracks. Vance probably didn't even know Taylor was involved. Nobody seems to want to pursue this because Jermaine Taylor is a local hero to many. In the end, Vance will probably get the death penalty, Jermaine Taylor will be untouched and the press will say nothing more.

A sister of mine didn't have jury duty this week because of the trial (same courthouse). I'm glad they found him guilty.
