The problem for you....it doesn't target law abiding people who simply want to own guns....they wouldn't be subject to having to get a license, to register their guns or to have to drag a gun buyer to a gun store or police station for a private gun sale...so for you that is the down side.....you want to make selling and buying legal guns as complicated and legally risky for normal people as possible...to scare them and punish them for wanting to own guns.

this works for the private seller.....and the gun shows, and the gun stores......it gives them an immediate check on the buyer....if they are law abiding, they can refuse the sale right then and there without a background check....
