How EXACTLY is that any different to what we heard since Bush was elected. Be specific.

First, if memory serves, the complaints about president Bush in the beginning was that none of the Democrats believed that he won the election and that the supreme court, handed the presidency to him....

then the next criticism of him was the TAX CUTS he and his congress jammed through that were weighted towards the wealthiest, ultimately putting more burden on the middle and lower classes because he used all of the working clas's SS surpluses to give the wealthiest, their huge tax cuts.

The next thing was 9/11 and the ENTIRE COUNTRY supported him, dam near 80% approval ratings....all the way up to when he chose to go to war with Iraq....this was march of 2003, a little over 2 years of him in office with very little criticisms other than over policy.....

Then, as the war in Iraq proceeded and no WMD's found that could annihilate us or our neighbors in 45 minutes with the form of a mushroom cloud, and our soldiers being killed... started Bush's fall, decline in support...but not greatly, still not a lot of criticism towards him that took or caught on, the Dems in congress were still cow towing to the republicans and their agenda and passed every single thing the Republicans wanted to do....with little impact in negotiations if any at all...the Dems were SHUT OUT by the republicans on most all bills....then the stupid medicare pill bill that the republicans had the PHARMA INDUSTRY write, got illegally shoved through congress on a 15 minute vote that began at midnight but was kept opened until 3 am for the repubs to bribe and twist arms of others to change their vote so that PHARMA COULD GET THEIR GIFT HORSE from the repubs, their quid pro quo for all the campaign money they gave them....

Oh, and then the Valerie Plame affair/outing...

at this time the criticism began full force and all the childish names like Chimp started to take hold, and calling him and his repub congress fascists, and a liar about the WMD's...but what sealed the deal on the name calling was the TORTURE that took place in Abu Graib and all the photos that hit the press....that was definitely the turning point for some of my republican friends to reassess their support....this is 2003/2004.

as an outsider, what I see is both sides trying to outdo eachother on who can be more deplorable...

The work of the devil is to divide and conquer...to cause division among us.

2 'wrongs' do not make a 'right'.... we all know this, but the bashing is still done anyway...

it is just naturally more excusable for it to be your own side doing it i suppose and we all can fall in to that trap...
