Apologies Still Not Accepted: Pakistani Protesters 'Hang' Obama With Noose...

They did? The Taliban were running things pre-war, and after almost 11 years of warmongering it seems everyone is content with letting the Taliban run things again after we leave.

Unfortunately, it's even worse than that. This President and the Afghan Government are close to reaching a deal which will turn over half of Afghanistan to the Taliban. It's a pretty huge sell-out. What a Foreign Policy ay?

To be honest if I knew back before we went into Afghanistan that we were going to end up letting the Taliban keep half of the country, I wouldn't have wanted to send our men and women into that shit hole.

You and me both. It is very sad & tragic.

Weakness in itself begets aggression. Just ask Neville C. how his September in Munich, 1938 went.

This could have been the "Something totally and completely unexpected out of Left Field" that tanked the Obama Administration those folks who toil daily in the Intel field worry constantly about, ie the Iranian Hostage Crisis. But its early in the season, the masses have an exquisitely short memory, and the LeftMedia will do their utmost to bury this story as quickly as possible on Obama's behalf and return to extolling The Chosen One's virtues. The Arabs in the meantime, as the time for election nears, will try to hold their tongues and restrain their actions, for with Obama in charge they can achieve nearly everything they desire for free or next to free in contrast to they costs they will have to bear with a Gingrich (a historian who fully remembers the lessons WWII taught the world, There Can Be No Kinder, Gentler War) or an Allen West in charge.

Yeah..how's that working out in Afghanistan? They got their asses totally kicked..and guess what..they are still fighting.

That's probably because..at the end of the day..they seem to be the only ones that really really want the job.

Yup, and that's why American Taxpayers should no longer be forced to fund that horrifying debacle over there. American Taxpayers certainly don't want or need that job. Time to bring em all home.

After we leave the country isn't just going to happily embrace the Taliban, the factions that hate them like the Hazaras, Tajiks, Shites etc. will all join together and fight them like the Northern Alliance did before we got there, they will descend into civil war again.

Well I wouldn't say "every body" in Afghanistan wants that, there are a good number of ethnic minorities in Afghanistan like the Tajiks, Hazaras etc and the actual educated Afghans who dread Taliban rule, but they are drowned out by a huge chunk of the population that is illiterate, live in mud huts, fuck goats, and are more than happy to return to Taliban rule.

By everyone i meant our politicians, not the citizens of afghanistan.

Our politicians have moved the goal posts completely out of the arena as far as reasons to stay there.

Yeah, The Longest War needs to be ended immediately. We've already spent way too much blood & treasure over there. Our kids deserve to come home to the Victory Parades they so deserve. It's time. And i'm glad we can agree on this.

Its definently time to get out of there, we have been in Afghanistan over 10 years already, if their not ready to stand on their own 2 feet by now they never will.

[Allen West for President]

"I want to extend my sincere condolences to the families of the Army Colonel and Major who were killed by Afghanistan security forces over this “burning Koran” episode.

If we had resolute leadership in the White House, we would have explained that these Islamic terrorist enemy combatants detained at the Parwan facility used the Koran to write jihadist messages to pass to others.

In doing so, they violated their own cultural practice and defiled the Koran and turned the Koran into contraband.

The Islamic cultural practice and Parwan detention facility procedures support burning the “contraband.”

Instead here we go again, offering apology after apology and promising to “hold those responsible accountable.” Responsible for what?

When tolerance becomes a one-way street it leads to cultural suicide.

This time it immediately led to the deaths of two American Warriors.

America is awaiting the apology from President Hamid Karzai."

And bob's your uncle.

No Republicans condemning the Pakis or Afghans for disrepecting the President..however..plenty ready to take Obama to the woodshed.

Gotta love it.

I'll be the first, then. I absolutely DEMAND that the Pakis and Afghans apologize for dissing Obama.

I agree

[The wages of appeasement. If the Democrats had opened any world history text to the chapters on Neville Chamberlain, but nooooh, they couldn't do that! They're all smarter than the people were way back then.]

"Payoff for Obama’s Islamic Appeasement Policy

Now that we’ve appeased the Islamic world by electing a guy with a Muslim background and sympathies who devoted himself from the beginning of his presidency to apologizing to Muslims on behalf of America, the USA is getting the respect it deserves in Pakistan, which receives $billions in free money courtesy of American taxpayers:"

Apologies Still Not Accepted: Pakistani Protesters 'Hang' Obama With Noose...

Just what the asshole deserves for acting like Bush.

[With Barack Obama "Its How Low Can You Go"? One thing you can count on, there won't be any future "Blackjack" Pershings taking fifty prisoners out to a clearing, having them dig a large pit, shooting all but two of the prisoners, then slaughtering a number of pigs purposely brought along and letting the blood drain onto the corpses until after this election. The Phillipine Insurrection ended two weeks after the above event took place, by the way. But that was way back when America knew how to win wars it was involved in.]

"Carney: Obama’s Apology Letter To Karzai Over Koran Burning “Not Appropriate” For Reporters To See…

It’s obviously more pathetic than we imagined.

Via PJ Media:

The White House press secretary told members of the press pool aboard Air Force One today that President Obama’s “sincere” apology to Afghan President Hamid Karzai for a Koran-burning incident “is not appropriate to show” to reporters.

Jay Carney spoke with reporters for about 20 minutes as the presidential entourage flew to Florida for a speech on energy at the University of Miami.

Obama’s letter to Karzai that included the apology was “a lengthy, three-page letter on a host of issues, several sentences of which relate to this matter,” according to the travel pool report.

FBI: Afghan civilian killings could spark attacks in U.S.
March 15th, 2012 - The alleged murder of 16 Afghan civilians by a U.S. soldier could spur retaliatory violence in the United States, a law enforcement advisory by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security warned.
The intelligence bulletin, which was issued Wednesday to state and local law enforcement partners, says "there is currently no specific, credible threat information" that extremists might strike targets in the United States. However, the document, which was obtained by CNN, notes the March 11 killings of the Afghans is the latest in a series of events in Afghanistan that could cause anger and possibly lead to violent action. "The FBI and DHS are concerned that this event could contribute to the radicalization or mobilization of homegrown violent extremists in the Homeland, particularly against U.S.-based military targets," the bulletin said.

The document notes that the soldier suspected of committing the killings is based at Joint Base Lewis-McChord near Tacoma, Washington, and states that in the past, extremists have viewed military sites as "legitimate targets for retaliation in response to past alleged U.S. military actions against civilians overseas." The law enforcement advisory also lists other recent events in Afghanistan that could incite violence in the United States, including the February burning of Qurans and other religious texts by U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan and a video that surfaced in January which appeared to show U.S. Marines urinating on the bodies of Taliban fighters. The Quran burning sparked protests that left as many as 40 people dead, including six U.S. servicemembers.

U.S. officials also have promised a full investigation into the deaths of the 16 civilians. According to the bulletin, it's unlikely that any one of these events alone would lead to violence in the United States, but it noted they will be used in "violent extremist propaganda and could contribute to an individual's radicalization to violence." The FBI and DHS called on local law enforcement to be vigilant for possible violence, particularly against U.S. military targets.
