A couple of acquaintences of mine used to play little lounge gigs in a musical duo, using sequenced (pre-recorded) bass and drums. Although it's a practice widely used in large concerts( tipoff: the drummer's wearing headphones), it looks even cheesier - if you can imagine that - in a little hole in the wall bar.You know - you're hearing a full-band arrangement of YMCA and only seeing two guys with guitars.Wow. Slick.

Anyhow, these bozos were playing at a Day's Inn one night, and some folks are at a front table, seemingly enjoying the show. As they all get up to leave, one of them drops a note on the stage, and gives the boys a big smile.

At break time, the guys go and get the note, anxious to see what kind of words of encouragement they have received. to their shock and dismay, the note reads:

"Which one's Milli, and which one's Vanilli?"
