Anti-BDS Bill - Bravo

montelatici, et al,

Well, you are wrong again.

Palestine,as the map is labeled, was invaded by European colonists. The native inhabitants had every right to resist European colonization and continue to have a right to resist it, regardless of what the UN, controlled by colonial powers, decided. The Arab League intervened in an attempt to defend against the European invasion of Palestine and the ongoing ethnic cleansing and genocide perpetrated by the Europeans and their European and U.S. enablers.
(COMMENT)

The 1948 Invasion by the Arab League was an action taken beyond their borders (a foreign war) on Israel. Israel was allowed to declare independence under the right of self-determination the same as when Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Egypt exercised their right of self-determination.

This whole nonsense about the authorized Jewish Immigration being some sort of "European invasion" is merely an sob story intended to make someone feel sympathy and to secure, to the extent possible, political support for their use of force against a people exercising their right and following the UN Instructions.

The hidden agenda by the Egyptians and the Jordanians was simple. They wanted to expand their territorial boundaries through the unauthorized use of force. Both Jordan and Egypt secured most of what they set-out to secure. Egypt acquired the Gaza Strip and most of the southern border area of Israel. Jordan pretty much acquired its objective (East Jerusalem) where the Arab Legion secured the Jewish Quarter of the Old City and proceeded to destroyed (after looting) more than 50 synagogues and expel the Jewish. Both the West Bank and East Jerusalem were Annexed by Jordan in 1950 under the Arab Palestinian right of self-determination.

Again we see the appeal for sympathy in the use of words to incite emotions. ‘Ethnic Cleansing’ (pseudo-legal terminology) is used as an inflammatory euphemism for genocide despite having no legal clarity or comprehensive meaning. You can see by the chart below that the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict is not even worthy of being a data point. And the Hostile Arab-Palestinians know this -- and that is the reason for them to violate Customary IHL Rules 23, 24 and 97 in order to put more civilians in harms way as a means of increasing the number of deaths attributed to the conflict the pursue.

Just facts. The Europeans Jews invaded Palestine. The native people of Palestine were dispossessed by said Europeans. It's really quite simple. Making up your own fantasy history does not change the facts.

The facts are the facts. The Europeans invaded with the intention of establishing a colony replacing the native inhabitants with Jews from elsewhere.

Denying that Palestinians suffered ethnic cleansing as a result of partition is akin to Holocaust denial. Throwing up a chart that starts in 1990 and claiming that Palestinians are not mentioned as victims of ethnic cleansing shows how stupidity combined with desperation results in embarrassment. The ethnic cleansing of the Muslims and Christians of Palestine occurred in 1947-1948 and the 750,000 that were ethnically cleansed.

Your hysterical rants are typically absent fact.

Your shrill screeching only serves to further your obvious ignorance with regard to the Mandate and establishment of the Jewish national home. You really should reconsider your behavior as such tantrums and falling on the floor kicking and screaming is not an argument.

Despite the drone-like repetitive IslamoNazi propaganda and lies about colonialism, "European invaders" , so called fictional "native Palestinians", ethnic cleansing, the Jews are now back in their religious, ancestral, and cultural homeland, and in total control having established a vibrant, strong, and democratic state.

Because of their intransigence, they will be out of there within 2 generations. Had they taken the South African route something could have been salvaged. Unfortunately, the Israelis have taken the Rhodesian route.

That really is as clueless as your usual prattling.

The Arabs-Moslems occupying the disputed territories have chosen the islamic terrorist / Islamic apartheid route. They have chosen Arab-Moslem intransigence and the typical decay of theocratic totalitarianism that defines the rest of the failed / retrograde Islamic Middle East.

There are not many examples of a minority ruling and controlling a growing majority for the long-term.

must be fun having these antisemtic wet dreams of the destruction of Israel in favor of an Islamic caliphate of Palestine. The world really really needs yet another Islamic terrorist shariah shithole state.

You don't seem to understand. My hope had always been that a secular, democratic state for all the people of Palestine might be established. Unfortunately, intransigence on the part of the Jews has made it improbable that this will be possible.

One by one:

"Europeans invaded."
• Jewish Immigration was encouraged,
"intention of establishing a colony."
• Establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people,
"replacing the native inhabitants with Jews from elsewhere."
• Working out the consummation of their national aspirations,
• Definite boundaries between the Arab State and Palestine,

I did not deny that a refugee issue developed and that there were cases of forced relocation. But the use of the terminology of "Ethnic Cleansing" is not about discovering the truth, or discussing facts. It is an attempt ti incite hostilities using inflammatory language. The ICRC Dictionary of the International Law of Armed Conflicts (DILAC) defines apartheid, genocide, displaced persons, refugees, etc BUT NOT "ethnic cleansing."

I understand what you are trying to communicate: the "systematic forced removal of ethnic or religious groups from a given territory by a more powerful ethnic group, with the intent of making it ethnically homogeneous." That may or may not have been the intention. It could just have easily been the military necessity to protect the rear area and remove potential threats from the Rear Area (defined by the DILAC); just as it is a requirement to remove civilian persons and objects under its control from the vicinity of military objectives..

It was the Zionist's stated intention, long before 1948, to remove the non-Jews. Theodor Herzl stated this clearly in the late 1800s.

Yeah sure. You and the Palestinians want to establish an Islamic Caliphate of Palestine after the democratic state of Israel has been destroyed.

montelatici, et al,

There is a difference between a "non-authoritative vision of the future" and an "authoritative directive" with a similar objective.

It was the Zionist's stated intention, long before 1948, to remove the non-Jews. Theodor Herzl stated this clearly in the late 1800s.
(COMMENT)

The World Zionist Organization (WZO) was founded in Basal, CH in 1897. But even before the authoritative release in 1917, Prince Faisal and Dr Weizmann were discussing "national aspirations."

Don't make the mistake that many journalist have made by believing in a source with no actually access. It is sometimes called the Dr Noam Chomsky Vulnerability (NCV). He is a very brilliant professor, but not in the diplomatic arena, foreign intelligence, or as a political executive.

Theodor Herzl was a law school graduate from the University of Vienna; later to convene WZO Convention. The Jewish State envisioned by the WZO is no so dissimilar to the 1799/1800 French General Napoleon Bonaparte, who --- as the First Consul --- mused about a Jewish Homeland.

What would Prince Faisal, a Bedouin, have to do with Palestine. There were less Bedouins in Palestine than Jews at the time.

You are incorrigible. Herzl's plans are in writing in his autobiography.

The senior Arab Leader for the entire region, especially for the Arab Irregulars on the Allied side, was Hussein bin Ali, Sharif of Mecca, King of the Hejaz. Prince Faisal was the King's son and dispatched to negotiate on the Kings behalf. When Prince Faisal entered Damascus, he was the most senior Arab Leader.

There are all kinds of people that have made plans upon plans. That means nothing if you do not have the capability to fulfill them.

You are incorrigible. Herzl's plans are in writing in his autobiography.

Only the Allied Powers had the capability to facilitate Jewish Immigration on any large scale.

It had to be the intention. The only way to create a Jewish majority state in a country where Jews were in a minority was to eliminate the non Jews.

It could not have happened any other way.
