The last POTUS who really had any truly positive effect on the Isreali issue was who again?
JIMMY CARTER.
As long as Hamas and Hezbullah are in the picture there will never be a peace brokered between Isreal and Palestine.
Won't make any difference who's in the WH.
As long as Israel and Palestine exists there will never be peace between Israel and Palestine.
Don't read into that, I'm not saying I don't want either to exist, just saying they're deep seeded religion-based hatred will exist until the end of time.
The Jews and the Palestinians still can't get along? Shocking.
This is Obama's fault how?
Yes this seems to be a partisan stretch (or deflection?) to find fault with the Obama Administration whose serious failings are rooted in the ballooning national debt (declining value of the dollar), unemployment, and illegal immigration.

Recall that Obama launched this effort with great fanfare and was convinced he would succeed where others had failed.
Yes, every president basically since Nixon has tried to hammer out some kind of peace accord. Virtually all of them failed. So the idea that Obama was going to be different speaks to his unbridled arrogance and unrealistic view of his abilities. This man couldn't get the Olympic Games to Chicago. How was he going to negotiate a peace treaty in the most tendentious conflict in the world?
Obama's foreign policy is as much a failure as his domestic policy.
nice try!

"Justice Department Inspector General in October 2008 found that the process used to fire the first seven attorneys and two others dismissed around the same time was "arbitrary", "fundamentally flawed", and "raised doubts about the integrity of Department prosecution decisions."

Why do the Bushbots always, always try to re-write history?
In July 2010, the Department of Justice prosecutors closed the two-year investigation without filing charges after determining that the firing was inappropriately political, but not criminal, saying "Evidence did not demonstrate that any prosecutable criminal offense was committed with regard to the removal of David Iglesias. The investigative team also determined that the evidence did not warrant expanding the scope of the investigation beyond the removal of Iglesias."[25]

And why do Left-wingers always have to lie:
from the same page, next sentence and following:

So there was one case that might have been inappropriately political but did not rise to criminal. Of all the DAs fired.
Every presidents foreign policy is a failure when it comes to Israel.
Ah yes poor poor, ah, um, what's the victims name again?
Victim to the stalled negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians that the Obama Adminitration caused?

There was no lie. The article was posted to demostrate that the attorney's were not simply replaced after they had served their 4 year terms. The process was "inappropriately political" where the justice department had been off limits to inappropriate political bullshit until this.
I suppose that's why it's so important to support the planned de facto state to be established in the Palestinian territory(s) later this year. The recent reconciliation between Hamas and Fatah was the last issue for the Palestinians and now thats behind them, the future looks bright and perhaps we can see an end to Israeli colonialism and Israeli apartheid.
Finally they'll get the right to self govern, with all of the privileges and responsibilities that come along with it.
