As soon as sanctions from the both sides were imposed, everybody started to speculate about how this could influence the countries and the world. But have you ever thought about the space program in this context?
You see, it has been a while since US launched a space craft using its own facilities. In fact, almost anyone who needed to send anything into the space used Russian Baikonur. And now, in the new circumstances, it might be not that simple.
So US have prepared a solution: a multibillion-dollar contract to build a U.S. spacecraft, which could help reignite a struggling American space program.
But, as always, it has its flaws: the expenses, the time it will take, and so on. But anyway, do you think this whole program would be any good?
