The hypocrites in Massachusetts were oh so proud of their liberal attitude and outlawing the death penalty until some monsters brought the real world into focus during the Marathon. Of course it became a federal case but the people of Mass sentenced the bomber to death. Now we have a "de-facto" anti death penalty state that just took the first step in sentencing a monster to death for the mass murder in a theater.. It's like the old cliche about a liberal who gets mugged and suddenly becomes a conservative.

My son would rather enjoy facilitating their death sentence. He was the paramedic that saved that little girls life; likely her mother's too. Sadly, he pronounced the little boy.

They have at least two high profile condemned prisoners in the federal system. It took the Feds about seven years from the time McVeigh was arrested to the time he was strapped on the gurney. So far it has taken the feds about seven years to even bring the jihad Army major to trial. The Colorado theater shooter will be pretty lonely in Colorado's death row.
