TOKYO — North Korea has detained another American who worked at a private university in Pyongyang, taking to four the number of U.S. citizens who are being held by Kim Jong Un’s regime.

Kim Hak-song, who worked for the Pyongyang University of Science and Technology, was detained Saturday, North Korea’s state news agency said.

“A relevant institution of the DPRK detained American citizen Kim Hak Song on May 6 under a law of the DPRK on suspicion of his hostile acts against it,” the Korean Central News Agency said, using the abbreviation for the North’s official name.

No other details about Kim were immediately available.
Two weeks earlier, North Korea detained another U.S. citizen, Kim Sang-dok or Tony Kim, as he waited to board a flight at Pyongyang airport. He had been teaching a class in international finance and management at the same university, known as PUST.

Well we all know most of these people going to North Korea are trying really hard to show the world what North Korea is like. But really North Korea going make it almost in possible for you to go to areas you want to go to and talk to people. It really risky.

I wonder if NATO and all world leaders if they ban travel to North Korea would be better option. Where North Korea is not getting money of tourism. It would put more political pressure of political change.

The people are dirt people but the elite are rich. Like how hank is leader getting wine and cheese and getting fat!! I thought there was ban of trade to North Korea. How he getting all these money and food like wine and cheese?

The UN was to have ban of trade to North Korea. Now they allow travel to North Korea.

probably another DUAL CITIZEN though i don't know that for sure . I have little sympathy for any that manage to get to the USA and then go back to their homeland hellhole and get snagged . Same thing happens in 'iran' Matthew !!

They return sometimes to spy or make trouble and end up becoming a pain in the butt for us. I see them as just plain stupid. People come here for many reasons so I don't think we will ever know the real reason for them leaving their country in the first place.
A good example for someone coming her is a girl called Samantha Bee a import from Canada who works for TTB (Ted Turner the exwife "Jane Fonda".) It seems she came to the USA imported by Ted to do a show bad mouthing President Trump, she became a Citizen so she could claim the American Citizen right to protest. That is the basis of the show is bad mouth the USA. In canada they don't really have the right do to the pressure of the leftys in the public. Sort of like what is happening here, except we fight back.....Just a example.
