Anita Dunn...

Jake Tapper tweeted about the video and now Dunn is claiming that she was "joking".:cuckoo:

It is remarkable the defense of this woman - she gives a pro Mao speech at a high school commencement ceremony.

And she is a top official/advisor in the White House - and a top advisor during his campaign. She ranks right below the architect David Axelrod. Anyone attempting to state she has no direct influence on Obama is outright lying.

ONCE AGAIN, we must ask why Obama surrounds himself with such people.

How many others are supportive of figures such as Mao - complete statists who controlled all facets of government and the daily lives of their people?

What is going on with this White House?

Let's put this in ACTUAL context... okay? Anita Dunn is Obama's Communications Director, she ... get this one... and listen reaaallyyy reaaallyy carefully... DOES NOT advise President Obama on foreign OR domestic policy. Her job is to direct information flow in and out of the white house just like a Public Relations or Communications Director in a major corporation or firm. She advises him on polls, opinion data, when and where to make appearences and press conferences. That- is- her- job. You are not hired for this job based on your political ideology, because you have no effect on policy. Therefore you are judged (or atleast your supposed to be) on your individual qualifications and ability to work for the whtie house with a certain amount of hush hush on what you actually believe... because your a PR man not a damn elected official. Thus this is an absolute non-issue... because again we do not, and I do not want to live in a nation that supports job discrimination based on what they believe. In order to be a free society all people's must be FREE to think however they please even if they don't believe in freedom themselves.

As a P.S. she not once said she idealized Mao she simply said he was one of my favorite philosophers. Could she mean she likes his philosophy? Sure. In that case she has a right to do so like everyone else. Could she mean she likes to study him and his philosophy? Sure. In that case that makes this whole post bullshit ANYWAY. She did not say she looked to Mao for guidence she said she looked to Mao to make a specific point... the point she is making in the speech. She makes a parallel between Mao in Mother Teresa claiming that they don't get mentioned together alot, probably because MAO'S IDEOLOGY WAS BASED ON MURDER... while Mother Teresa's wasn't? Which suggests even further to me and any sane person that understands irony that she ISN'T A FREAKING MAOIST. But again even if she was I defend her RIGHT as a tax paying citizen to be one and work at any job she wants as long as she has no power to dictate policy in this nation... which she does not.

I done seen this shit a hundred times... I'm no fan of Mao Tse Dung (and that's the way I'm gonna spell it!), but this really ain't nothing new. George W. Bush recomended Karl Rove to read the man's autobiography.
They're all a bunch of tyrant worshipers... cause they're tyrants too.

Actually, I think it is pronounced Mao Zay Dong, LOL....

and others after them do so, too.

Some appear to be not so smart, and sometimes the people who give them credence also appear to be more than a littl dense.

SHE HAS NO INFLUENCE OVER FOREIGN OR DOMESTIC POLICY. THE HIRING PROCESS FOR HER JOB DOES NOT REQUIRE A CHECK OF POLITICAL IDEOLOGY OR BELIEFS BECAUSE IT IS A DESK JOB. SHE HAS INFLUENCE OVER SPEECH WRITING... SHE IS A PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR. THAT'S IT. President, Secretary of State, Ambassadors, they have influence over foreign and domestic policy, nto white house staffers. Do you know how many white house and government staffers at all levels are nutjobs who believe crazy shit on boths sides of the isle? I live right outside of DC... alot.

Anyway...

1. Form a full sentence.
2. Then come back and refute a damn thing I said.

So far every thing I have seen against Jennings is a lie. Hannity lies. You are correct, pick your battles carefully.

I rarely watch Hannity, so it would help me if you precise what exactly he lied about?

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- White House communications director Anita Dunn fired back at criticism from TV commentator Glenn Beck on Friday, saying that a Mao Tse-tung quote Beck took issue with was picked up from legendary GOP strategist Lee Atwater.

White House communications director Anita Dunn she picked up Mao Tse-tung from a legendary Republican.

"The Mao quote is one I picked up from the late Republican strategist Lee Atwater from something I read in the late 1980s, so I hope I don't get my progressive friends mad at me," Dunn told CNN.

As for Beck's criticism: "The use of the phrase 'favorite political philosophers' was intended as irony, but clearly the effort fell flat -- at least with a certain Fox commentator whose sense of irony may be missing."

Just don't tell me, or anyone else here, that WH couldn't chose someone who most turn to American values. No, they chose someone who turn to Mao. She explain it all, and WH chose the path, WH fight their own war against American values, they figure what's right for them and their agenda, you don't let external forces define their goal... socialism.

If not true, how do you explain background of the people that Obama surrounded himself with? Coincidence?

Bullfuckingshit. Watching the video, it is clear that it wasn't even an "inside joke". You don't couple that fucker with Mother Theresa to an audience of HS graduates at a Catholic HS and expect anyone to believe she was just joking around.

I mean how do you lie about something someone says when its on a video you play on your own show three seconds later?

First and foremost for an office job you don't ask people who they turn to for anything you ask them for their qualifications and criminal background. Like I said your arguement sinks completely when faced with the fact that WE adn I'm saying WE (true freedom loving Americans... not fascist fake-me-out patriots who believe that you must think the way the state tells you and only people who subscribe to certain "cultural values" should have jobs) as Americans do not question anyone else's ideology to determine their qualification for a job unless they are in a strategic position to influence American policy. She is not. Therefore it's UNAMERICAN to put this woman on trial for her beliefs no matter how unAmerican they even may be.

Hell, the lady might be a damn Maoist, like I said what's your point. She's in no position to influence policy, and until now this little video clip has only been released to the public on Beck's show. Obama did not select her by hand, alot of people are engaged in that process and the process is determined not by ideology but qualification, experience in the PR field, speech writing, english, and discerning polls and popular opinion. That's it. Nobody has told me what's wrong with having a communist PR woman, and nobody has been able to tell me why it's NOT anti-American to fire a woman from a job that doesn't effect policy because of her views on policy. Beck should rename his show "Defaming American Tax Payers For Profit".

She's a fucking liar. The twatwaffle should just own up to the fact that she admires Mao instead of the lame ass backtracking she is attempting.

Sure I'd agree. If she likes Mao she should tell us and go about doing her job. Sounds absolutely fair. My point is nobody should be put in a position to have to disclose or defend their personal beliefs in order to keep their 9 to 5. This is America, or atleast... it was.
