What ideas do you have for preventing/ resolving the loan crisis
Mine are
1) Cap the mortgage interest deduction at $1400 per year. It is a subsidy for homeowners, not a subsidy for house flippers.
2) loans on the increased equity in the property don't qualify
3) end the 'affirmative action' on loans. In order to qualify for FHA their has to be 10% down and the person has to have a credit history of no missed payments on any loan for 40 months.
4) no misrepresentation of Fannie/freddie loan packages. At the time of loan packaging all loans have to have a history of no late/missed for 48 months.
