Last year I told her that, from here on out, every year we'll go wherever she wants to as a birthday present. Last year we went to Edinburgh, Scotland and had an absolute blast.
She and I are both photographers, and pretty much anywhere in Europe is a target-rich environment. It was between Portugal and Belgium this year.

Sadly, though, there won't be any Europeam travel this year. She lives in Seattle (actually smack in the middle of the "CHAZ" or whatever they're calling it now). I thought that maybe later this year I'd fly out there, rent a car and then drive up into Canada and Victoria, Vancouver, Kelowna (I have friends there). Right now, though, even that's up in the air at the moment...
