AMAZING: Erdogan just compared his coming caliphate rule to Hitler’s Nazi Germany

The president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, just compared his coming new presidential system (A.K.A caliphate system) to that of Hitler’s Nazi Germany:

TODAY’S ZAMAN – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is a strong advocate of a switch to presidential system in his country, has said implementation of a presidential system while keeping the unitary structure of the state is possible, reportedly showing Hitler’s Germany as an example.

Speaking at a press conference following his return to the country after cutting short his trip due to death of pro-government journalist Hasan Karakaya, Erdoğan was asked whether a presidential system can be adopted while keeping the country’s unitary structure. “When we look [at other countries], we see that it is possible. You would see this when you look at Hitler’s Germany and other countries,” he was quoted as saying by T24 news portal.

Erdoğan is the staunchest supporter of the formation of a “Turkish-style” presidential system that he claims will help the country’s development by eliminating “double-headedness” in state governance and thus pave the way for a more effective decision-making system.

It’s pretty shocking that Erdogan would point to Hitler of all people when suggesting what his future caliphate reign will look like.

But he’s not the only one. His prime minister and right-hand man Ahmet Davutoglu said the same thing just a couple of days ago in a very similar way, using the same Hitler reference. It’s clear they’ve discussed how to frame this debate and they’ve chosen to use Hitler’s Nazi Germany as an example!

Here’s what he says:

“There are authoritarian structures coming out of parliamentary systems. (Adolf) Hitler’s Germany was born out of a parliamentary system.”

Wow! So both Erdogan and Davutoglu are saying that Erdogan can be caliph while Turkey keeps its parliamentary system — just like Hitler!

But notice that they are trying to fool people with slick words.
