Clinton didn't "allow" Russians to get close. Unlike Donald Trump, who kept his Russian recruits on staff as long as possible, Clinton fired them when the FBI warned her about them. That's also true of Nancy Pelosi, and Eric Swalwell.

There were email discussions on the part of the DNC of "stopping Bernie" in the same way there were discussions about stopping Donald Trump from winning the Republican nomination, and for the same reason - both were attempting to co-opt a mainstream party financing and machinery to finance their campaigns. but neither were really members of the party they hoped to lead. The Clinton campaign's response to those emails was that such measures would not be taken.

Republicans, OTOH, were discussing measures to keep Trump from the nomination, even after the Convention started. Why is it that members of the Trump Cult never bring up all of the people who have fled the party since Trump took over the Republican Party, or all of the ways that former Republicans worked to get rid of him?
according to the article she certainly did. She literally had russian spies working for her

You should have stopped after "stopping Bernie". You continue to illustrate to the world that you simply do not know what you're talking about.

DAY ONE DANSCHENKO TRIAL.

The FBI under the leadership of James Comey offered Christopher Steele $1 million to corroborate salacious allegations made in his dossier against Donald Trump and members of his 2016 campaign, but he was unable to do so, an FBI official testified Tuesday. FBI supervisory counterintelligence analyst Brian Auten was the first witness in the trial of Igor Danchenko, the Russian national who served as the primary sub-source for Steele’s anti-Trump dossier and has been charged with five counts of making false statements to the bureau.

Auten testified that he and a group of FBI agents went overseas in early October of 2021 to speak with Steele about the dossier. During questioning by Special Counsel John Durham Tuesday, Auten said that during those meetings, the FBI offered Steele $1 million dollars if he could corroborate allegations in the dossier.

Auten testified that Steele could not do so.

Auten also said that the FBI had no corroboration of allegations in the dossier, but, nevertheless took that information and inserted it into the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant to surveil Carter Page.

I think that's called bribing a witness and it used to be illegal...probably not now though with democrats redefining law terms.

It is not uncommon for the FBI to pay for counterintel info.

In this case (as noted and ignored) they offered that money for proof of the accusations in the Dossier. They did NOT pay because those accusations could not be verified.

And Carter Page was not part of ther Trump Campaign at that point. Kinda hard to spy on Trump through a guy who had no contact with Trump huh?

against the guy running for office, in the opposite party. Can you provide us with when another President did that?

Yes, Carter was an adviser....that's why the Obama admin wiretapped him.

Carter Page had been fired well before the FISA warrant application.

he was never fired. He was an advisor, he wasn't a paid employee
Paid or not… he was fired because his connections to Igor Sechin became known

He was fired. As in no longer a member of the Campaign

All that was made up hoopla that the Clinton campaign paid a foreign agent to make up....he wasn't fired.

Dude he was fired. He no longer worked for the Trump campaign. How fucking stupid are you?

No he was not fired. He was an unpaid advisor, that often gave some advice on foreign policy. The Obama admin used him to spy on the campaign, they lied to a Court about him to get that warrant.
