President Bush is a great American. Under-appreciated, even denigrated and besmirched in his time, there is no doubt that the dedication and single-mindedness he demonstrated in going after the scum that had attacked us will someday be recognized (more broadly than it is today) as a great virtue.
he did go after them but in the wrong places. look at the destruction of the taliban once obama sent in drones and told pakistan to put ground troops in the FATA regions or we would. compare the number of leaders killed in 1 year by obama vs 6 years under bush.
Who the hell PAYS for wars like some PAYGO bullshit?
Tax cuts were designed to stimulate the economy. The problem that happened to the economy wasn't the Bush tax cuts. That's sophistry.
you don't cut taxes while spending money at insane levels. that will only add to the deficity in the short and long term unless you think the extra little money people got would make up for the extra interest on our debt.
The problem that happened to the American economy was far more complicated and involved so many other things.

President Bush was FAR more -- VASTLY more -- mature as a leader than President Obama is. The cvlaim that he demonstrated his lack of maturity as a leader is silly. It's just a chintzy way of saying, "We libs disagreed with his choices."
obama isn't a leader at all so that isn't a useful deflection. bush was a weak leader though. very soft on iran, pakistan, and north africa. allowed for hezzbloah and hamas to become legitimate world players (offically elected). a number of other things as well discussed in depth during recent years.
President Bush never stripped anybody of civil rights. That tired old claim has no basis in reality.
tell that to the librarians who couldn't attend their own court trial after being deemed a threat to national security because they wouldn't break their contract and hand over library records to a bunch of government sponsored goons.
