"Sending living things to space is the result of Iranian efforts and dedication of thousands of Iranian professional scientists," Ahmadinejad said after Iran sent a monkey to space.
Now he wants to be the first human being who is sent to space by Iranian scientists!
"I am ready to be the first human to be sent to space by Iranian scientists," he said.
John McCain was "joking" on Twitter, that "Ahmadinejad already was in space last week", referring to Iran´s monkey in space. This joke is not made to relax the US-Iranian relationship as it did not even make his party members laugh.
