Do you own a 401K or a similar stock type investment plan? Helping the economy would definitely help your plan. Do you own a house? Is your mortgage underwater? Giving business reason to want to hire because they need more employees would help there. People gainfully employed and feeling comfortable about their future job prospects start looking for permanent home ownership which will help your underwater mortgage. A prosperous, rising economy will do more to help the average joe in a year than government's male appendage rammed up private business's rectum for a thousand years.

Lets not get carried away with the exaggerations.

IMHO the best match of tax rates and spending limits ($2T) was under Clinton. Returning to the Clinton Rates would NOT destroy one rich person or Corporation. It would lead to prosperity again if the dumb coxuckers would grow a pair and cut spending to where it should be.
