I got a Plasma TV just as they were retiring the Plasmas,. Got a great deal and its still running just fine.

You just have to live with the deep black issues all Plasmas have (which is why they phased them out.

When we move to an actual house, this becomes the Bedroom TV, and its time for a new (slightly below, I'm cheap) cutting edge behemoth.
