The CHIPS Act is loaded with DEI crap. They really do want to crash America. Just look at Boeing, which went whole hog for DEI.

Just another way of crashing the economy.

The Biden administration recently promised it will finally loosen the purse strings on $39 billion of CHIPS Act grants to encourage semiconductor fabrication in the U.S.

• But less than a week later, Intel announced that it’s putting the brakes on its Columbus factory.

• The Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has pushed back production at its second Arizona foundry.

• The remaining major chipmaker, Samsung, just delayed its first Texas fab.

This is not the way companies typically respond to multi-billion-dollar subsidies. So what explains chipmakers’ apparent ingratitude? In large part, frustration with DEI requirements embedded in the CHIPS Act.

The money has too many stupid strings:

Commentators have noted that CHIPS and Science Act money has been sluggish. What they haven’t noticed is that it’s because the CHIPS Act is so loaded with DEI pork that it can’t move.

The law contains 19 sections aimed at helping minority groups, including one creating a Chief Diversity Officer at the National Science Foundation, and several prioritizing scientific cooperation with what it calls “minority-serving institutions.” A section called “Opportunity and Inclusion” instructs the Department of Commerce to work with minority-owned businesses and make sure chipmakers “increase the participation of economically disadvantaged individuals in the semiconductor workforce.” …

The impetus for the CHIPS Act is that 90 percent of the world’s advanced microchips are made in Taiwan, which China is preparing to annex by 2027, maybe even 2025.

Handouts abound. There’s plenty for the left — requirements that chipmakers submit detailed plans to educate, employ, and train lots of women and people of color, as well as “justice-involved individuals,” more commonly known as ex-cons. There’s plenty for the right — veterans and members of rural communities find their way into the typical DEI definition of minorities. There’s even plenty for the planet: Arizona Democrats just bragged they’ve won $15 million in CHIPS funding for an ASU project fighting climate change. …

No thanks, we’ll go where we can employ talent:

Because equity is so critical, the makers of humanity’s most complex technology must rely on local labor and apprentices from all those underrepresented groups, as TSMC discovered to its dismay.

Tired of delays at its first fab, the company flew in 500 employees from Taiwan
. This angered local workers, since the implication was that they weren’t skilled enough. With CHIPS grants at risk, TSMC caved in December, agreeing to rely on those workers and invest more in training them. A month later, it postponed its second Arizona fab.

Now TSMC has revealed plans to build a second fab in Japan. Its first, which broke ground in 2021, is about to begin production. TSMC has learned that when the Japanese promise money, they actually give it, and they allow it to use competent workers.

TSMC is also sampling Germany’s chip subsidies, as is Intel.

Intel is also building fabs in Poland and Israel
, which means it would rather risk Russian aggression and Hamas rockets over dealing with America’s DEI regime. Samsung is pivoting toward making its South Korean homeland the semiconductor superpower after Taiwan falls.

Privatising sensitive matters to so called independent contractors makes plausible denial so much easier .

Although unrelated , that is what they did with Area51 and then the FIO act no longer applies .

For Chips , give everything to England which is the master of the Great Fry .

Lezbo, trannies and home O spend a lot if time and energy airing perceived grievances in HR. They weaken companies. Not to mention, nose rings, piercings, neck tattoo. Etc. Don’t play well in a business environment.

If any Caucasians out there do not see that we have a lot of traitors who are Caucasians and tens of millions of the same who are hypnotized by elite propaganda, then the time is coming when the comforts enjoyed will not be so ready. We have a mole as President and have had some before him.

Just wait until the dumbass Affirmative Action Negroes, Queers, Trannies and unqualified women start flying airplanes because of DEI.

One thing about Joe Potatohead. He fucks up everything he touches.

The only thing Gay Barry ever got right in his life was telling us that Potatohead was a fuck up.

What happened to the equal opportunity act that said you can't discriminate against sex or gender? Isn't requiring employers to mandatory certain amounts of sex and skin color a violation?

If companies all had a policy of "we hire the best person for job" that pretty much means everything is equal and people get jobs based on skills, knowledge, education, ambition and merit. Can't get much more equal than that.

I'm not in the posistion to do so but I'd take my company to another country if one shoved dei bullshit down my throat. I'm not hiring inadequate employees to satisfy some social agenda bullshit. I want the best people for the job, if the best people happen to not be brown or black then so be it. I'm in business to make money and a keystone of making money is having the best employees I can.

Nobody will hire inadequate white people just to have an all white staff. Just so happens white people on average are better picks than non whites because 1 there are a lot more white people to chose from and 2 the percentage of skilled and intelligent blacks is low.

"applicants for CHIPS for America funding must have a plan to employ ex-convicts, expand employment opportunities for people with "limited English proficiency," hire more women for construction jobs, and produce a plan for contracting "diverse suppliers" that are women- and minority-owned.

In addition, applicants for large grants must guarantee "affordable, accessible, reliable, and high quality" child care for all workers, including all construction workers, allowing CHIPS and Science Act funding to be used for child care center construction.

And the Department of Commerce’s funding notice mandates applicants submit a climate and environmental justice plan accounting for "climate-related risks that may occur over the lifetime of the facility" while giving preference to applicants whose operations are operated by 100% green energy."

This a great example of the stupidity of the idiot Liberals.

They will screw anybody to kiss the ass of the Negroes, Queers, Trannies etc.

No wonder Ole Potatohead flew the Queer flag over the White House. Despicable asshole.

Boeing airplanes have already begun to fall apart because of their commitment to DEI a few years ago under Gay Barry in order to secure government contracts. Just wait until all these DEI pilots that the airlines are committed to hire start crashing passenger jets.

It is one thing to hire a low IQ Negros or a sicko Queer/Trannies to flip burgers to meet some idiotic DEI goal but they have no place in a technological world if they can't compete on their merits.

More all or 🚳 nothing hysteria. You don't know anything about Boeing.

Our country is already falling apart.

When White heterosexual gender correct males can't get jobs because they don't meet DEI specifications it is only going to get worse. You ain't seen nuttin yet.

If any of you Moon Bat idiots think America is going to be great being run by low IQ Negros just out of prison or on welfare, Illegals, Queers, Trannies or dingbat women that couldn't compete on their own then you are are really confused about reality.
