Truth is, "white" people and especially "white" men cannot truly understand what it is like to be Black. On the other hand, "we" see lots of Black people who are able to get along, and even thrive, while seeming to ignore their status as second-class citizens.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is calling for reparations as a way to reduce violent crime. Is he suggesting that only black people commit violent crimes? It’s a good thing he isn’t a Republican or some people might say that he was a racist for saying that.

This raises other obvious questions. Is Brandon suggesting that we should pay criminals to not commit crimes? None of it makes sense.

I myself, while never violent, did change, once I found Jesus and His Church. I wasn't a hideous persn before then but... well, that's probably because I was raised in His Church... just not very thoroughly raised... long story. In other words, I wasn't taught much about that Church by my parents. I had to educate myself. One of the best things I've ever done, too.
