The only one who has anything to gain from debates right now is Sanders Trump has officially gotten the 1237 delegates so he gains nothing Hillary will be the Democratic nominee she would gain nothing which is why she passed on a debate with Sanders. When it comes to the general election this issue would be a wash if neither did it.

Agreed, but with one major exception......and that is Trump's big mouth, instead of basically stating what you wrote....decided on the bravado spewing and said YES to the challenge.

Ultimately, among your ilk, you MUST come to terms with Trump's recklessness and how such would come off if this clown ever (unlikely) sat in the oval office.

What stuff does matter? Trump has a neurotic compulsion to be in the news every single day, at any cost. He has to have constant attention like an opioid addict has to have oxycodone. If the media attention starts to wane, he will do anything and everything to get the cameras and airtime back on him.
