A question about "Ethics" and "morality"? Would you take a bullet to save someone else?

If you knew that someone was going to go shooting up a school, would you try to stop him?

I went into the military to serve my country and to protect its citizens from the Evil of Socialists around the world. USSR, CUBA, EAST GERMANY and many others were always suppressing their citizens, keeping them behind walls, not allowing them to escape to the free societies that provided wealth and security. As of late, I have been thinking, what if I was down there at the Parkland School, and saw the 19 year old liberal heading towards the entrance, "what would I do"? I who have had a very good life, would willingly take a few rounds like the Phys Ed teacher did, but also know that I who am armed and legally concealed would put a few rounds into the lunatic leftist, who was allowed by the FBI to purchase his firearm. Yeah, I know I would probably get shot, but to save innocent children from certain death, it is a deal I am willing to make. What say you?

I was in a Krogers a few years ago one of the cashiers started screaming and ran to the back of the store. A guy coming in the door pulled a hunting knife and started chasing her up one aisle and down another. We were in the checkout line and I got 2 cans of vegetables out of the cart and told my wife if he came by us I was going to bean him (no pun intended.) Fortunately he was tackled in the back of the store by 2 big burly guys and held until the police came. Seems the cashier was his girlfriend and he was triggered about something. The sad part of the event was that almost everyone in the cashier lines ran out of the store without paying for their groceries and left the scene. About a week later the newscasts showed 9 or 10 people who had been caught on store cameras and were arrested.

for me dont think my thought would be to take a bullet but to save a life and if I do take a bullet ,,,well thats what happens sometimes,,,

I learned early in life that when you make big choices sometimes they come back and bite you in the ass and you just have to live with it or dont do it,,,

its a win lose or draw over doing nothing

be assured I will always do something,
