I'll watch the new one , might wait till its on Disc , up to my wife but i liked all the old ones and have watched them a few times each .

I have to say...when I was in High School and a scifi/fantasy geek, Mad Max was a movie most had heard of but few had seen...it was a real coup for the nerds who had seen it at a science fiction convention.....

I ended up seeing "The Road Warrior" first...and I have to say if you meet someone interested in the movies...have them watch the Road Warrior first, then Mad Max.....it makes Max more mysterious....and the film quality and low budget of the first Mad Max aren't as out of place.......

I would also suggest...skip Beyond Thunder Dome...dumb movie all the way around.........

I loved the original. I saw it on Showtime when I was a kid.

Can't wait for the DVD of the new one to come out.
