Inside my ex-husband's family, there were only a few people who I felt comfy with. One was an older lady, never married, who was unfailing bright, funny and kind. She passed away this morning, and I am so sad.
We should all have had a life like hers. She was a world traveler, a fabulous gardener, a very astute lady and a charmer. She never had children of her own, but nurtured the kidlets in her family so well I named my own daughter after her.
The world is a little bit less appealing to me today, and my kidlet is very sad. There's not nearly enough kind people in this world.....RIP, Auntie.
