The Stimulus is a massive FAILURE.

The table below compares the White House's February 2009 projection of the number of jobs that would be created by the 2009 stimulus law (through the end of 2010) with the actual change in state payroll employment through September 2009 (the latest figures available). According to the data, 49 States and the District of Columbia have lost jobs since stimulus was enacted. Only North Dakota has seen net job creation following the February 2009 stimulus. While President Obama claimed the result of his stimulus bill would be the creation of 3.5 million jobs, the Nation has already lost a total of 2.7 million – a difference of 6.2 million jobs. To see how stimulus has failed your state, see the table below.

Inother words, they work just like the GOP stimulus checks- not at all?

Those handouts were a waste too. Just another massive Failure by government. Giving people something for nothing does not work. If it did we wouldn't have anyone on welfare beyond a few months. Instead, we have entire families that never get off of public assistance.

How can yo go wrong?

Take a bunch of money from the taxpayers' paychecks and give a tiny fraction back.

How could such a brilliant plan ever fail?

You're Doing December 2010 in October 2009 with September 2009, and Goddesses know what?

Aren't There Laws About This?

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken Not Stirred!"
(What would anyone say about a system that clearly, and even historically, does so much, for so many--even before the time of the less than Jewish law-abiding kid from Nazareth(?)!)

But isn't this a good thing? After all, most of those lost jobs were probably filled by all the supposed illegal aliens who have invaded our country. So good riddance I say.

Young'un, you need to study a little bit about the economy. Nearly 80% of the jobs lost were service sector jobs or self employed people. 20 percent were in manufacturing. Very few of these jobs were held by illegals. Even in Farm labor they check now a days to see if you are a legal resident of the US. If INS busts you for illegal hires, the fines and penalties can usually put you out of business.
