More than half of California voters have thought about moving out of the nation's most populous state, citing the high cost of housing, taxes or it's political culture, according to a University of California, Berkeley poll released on Friday.
Half of California voters have considered leaving over housing costs, politics: poll | Article [AMP]

These results are at odds with the image the left on this board put forward. Apparently the actual residents of California are sick of how things are going in their state.

Without some context to the percentages in other states this is rather meaningless.

Considering the nice weather it is telling that so many want to leave. But many leave MA too as the cost of living is super high.

I don't know how anyone can afford to live in that State. Hell a million dollars gets you a shack and the taxes are killers.

/—-/ Their mission is to pollute other states with the same brand of liberalism they are escaping.

When a place wants to tax texts because their debt is almost $12,000 per person you know things are out of control.
Add in the homeless problem. It's stand on illegals and the simple high costs of everyday living. Pile on bad roads and garbage in a large number of areas it is little wonder people want to leave. The problem is they want to take the same policies that put California where it is with them.

So, 52% of voters, yet the state votes somewhere around 80% Democrat?

.

I was just offered a job in Los Angels, I laughed my ass off when he said they will give me $25 an hour and $5,000 relocation.

I can make that in South Carolina with $500 dollar a month in renting a house.

Many people leave high tax-high cost states or municipalities for another but they also “bring those high taxes with them”. Case in point: Charlotte, NC. Charlotte attracted many from the Northeast corridor in the early 2000s. These people raved about the low costs but began to requests services from the Charlotte state and local governments which increased taxes. This resulted in many moving across the border from Charlotte to South Carolina.

This post is not to debate if all of the new services provided by the state and locals were essential or not. Just an observation.

The point remains these morons vote for more government then flee when it becomes overwhelming. They are like locusts. Destroy the area and move on to destroy another.

Paradise indeed

If you read the link the results were very party centric.

Also, only about 60% is Dem based on their votes for POTUS

Exactly and then when they move to a red state they complain and say why can't this place be more like such and such.
